Noxzema!!!

Post by Migiwa » Tue Jun 15, 2004 1:27 am

I *love* Noxzema! It makes my face look semi-normal! (stupid big pores). It's all cooling and smells good and can clean out the worst pores ever and make you look like a human being!!!

^^;; just my little tribute.

Do you love Noxzema too?

My face only breaks out before my time of the month, and...by "break out", I mean maybe one or two pimples.

^^; So i've never had to use the stuff.

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

What an odd topic. Anyway, I use Noxzema because it really does do a good job without drying out my skin too much. However I can't use it without a scrub afterwards otherwise my face feels way too tight.

For me, I find that plain old soap does the trick to keep pimples away. I don't break out that often (and just like Tiff, that means only one or two), but when I do, I get pimples the size of mosquito bites. It's just awful.

I have no acne problems, really, so I use Clearasil and Neutrogena face wash. I've been breaking out more, though, since summer has started. Is this prescription?

Noxzema doesn't do much for my skin. It doesn't dry it out, but it doesn't help a lot with my acne either. I've been trying different things, and I've found Aveeno's Clear Complexion bar and Lush's Coalface bar work best for me.

Noxzema and Aveeno stuff can be found at any big discount store (Walmart, Target, etc.) Lush stuff can be found at their own stores, via Amazon, or via http://www.lush.com.

I used to use Noxzema, but it didn't help me out much, especially when Marching Band would start and I had to be in 90+ degree heat for most of the morning. I swiched to Stri-Dex for that, but come winter it would dry my skin out. I now use Clean-and-Clear. I still get break outs, but they aren't as bad as they could be.
