0__o I didn't make a judgement (actually I've already forgot the name of the movie ^^; ). I was just wondering because when yoshmaster5 said "mock" I guess I got the wrong idea. Maybe some day in the not to distanct future I'll stop being cheap and rent it ~_^.

My favorite movies:
The Last Samurai:most beautiful movie I have ever seen, and I encourage everyone to see it.

Pirates of the Carribbean:just loved this one.

Both Shrek movies. See Movie Review thread for my comments on Shrek 2

The Ring-The Japanese Version. It was so much better than the American remake, and it made more sense.

Interview With the Vampire: I am just a very big Anne Rice fan, and the movie was so close to the book, however, there were some things left out of the movie that could have gone in there just fine.

In no Particular order:

Pulp Fiction: Reservoir Dogs was a small step for Tarantino, and PF was a GIANT LEAP!

Blazing Saddles: If you think Spaceballs was funny, check out Blazing Saddles, which did for westerns, as Spaceballs did for sci-fi (I also gotta check out Young Frankenstein!)

Forrest Gump: the first movie I got hooked on!

It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World: Another classic comedy I forgot to mention

Scarface (1983)

A Clockwork Orange: One of my favorite Kubrick movies, along with Full Metal Jacket. Oh great, now "Singin' in the Rain" is playing in my head now...)

"After all these years, you know it's not about control. It's about trying to do everything I can. And for you, it's about setting an example. Everyone looks up to you. They listen to you. If you tell them to fight, they'll fight. But they need to be inspired, and let's face it, 'Superman'...the last time you really inspired anyone... was when you were dead." -- Batman, to Superman, Infinite Crisis, issue 1

These are just a few, not all- oh my, not all- of my favorite movies. Also, just a little fun fact, Swan Princess (Disney, the first one) was my first movie.

Chocolat: It's a really really good movie. Really. However, I advise you to NEVER EVER watch it if you are cocolate deprived. I also really liked how at the end
Annouk (sp?) was actually the narrator.
My favorite characters were Josephine, Roux, and
Annouk's imaginary kangaroo.
Monty Python and the Holy Grail: It is a ridiculous movie, but it is really, really hillarious. It's sort of wacky, British humor :D My favorite parts are
the Trojan bunny, the Black Beast of Aaarg, and last but most, the tale of Sir Lancelot.
My favorite characters are Roger the Shrubber and Zute.

Ferris Bueller's Day Off: A really funny 80's movie. The best scene in the movie (and probably any other movie I've seen) is the
Twist and Shout scene
“See this butt? Yeah. Look at it. LOOK AT MY BUTT. This is all you’re getting. MY BUTT to look at it. Yeah, bet you’re sorry now, aren’t you? You’d like to see my cute fuzzy face, wouldn’t you? But all you’re getting is the BUTT. LOOK AT IT. LOOK AT MY BUTT. Sucker.”
The thing is, Henrietta has—how can I put this? Kind of a big butt. If Henrietta were a celebrity? She’d be J-Lo.
Not that J-Lo has what I would call a big butt. But others have opined that this is so. I think J-Lo has a normal, healthy butt. As does Henrietta.

I have to agree with everyone on Monty Python and the Holy Grail; that film keeps me in stitches for hours.
What is your name? What is your quest? What is the average air speed velocity of an unladen swallow?

I don't think anybody's mentioned To Kill a Mockingbird. I always end up in tears when I see it.

XD That movie kicks ass. It's just hilarious.

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

It was a very good movie, and I think one of its time as well. I've said before that if it were made today,
Ferris would not have gotten away with skipping school. He would have been caught and learned a lesson, and it would have been more maudlin. Otherwise, the movie-makers might think it would encourage truancy and be fearful of complaints. But in the '80s, it was easier to make a movie that was just a movie, and Ferris is a great cult figure. But my favorite scene is the one where Cameron beats up the Ferarri in effigy of his father. I think everyone has wanted to do that to something of their parents' at some point.
Things I think Are Funny Early in the Morning: If Batman were a Smurf: "Quick, Robin! We must smurf down to the Batcave and smurf the Batplane! Then we must smurf the batsmurf so we can smurf where the Joker is smurfing!"

The Croonerism Spate (explanations upon request)
Be careful with this one, there is a bit of a pun involved. Dr. Spooner described his visit to a castle: "In the center of the fortress was the Palace Court. The gated entrance to this area was the court palace."
They never did show us what happened as a result of that, did they? I always wondered...
lol. That probably wasn't meant to be funny, but it is to me because it's just so true, in a very pathetic way.

Yeah, I'd definetly agree with that, though you do have to give credit to some movies nowadays. Another one I really like made in the same fashion is Dazed and Confused. Awesome movie, but we probably won't see many like it today. And it's too bad that stuff like that doesn't happen anymore, it all looks so much fun, and I love watching everything that happens in it.

Yep, it's awesome. I love Cameron:
