That movie was fantabulous! XD Everything it brings up is so, so true...

The only character I got annoyed with was Regina's teenybopper sister. She scares me. *shudders at the scene when she lifts up the front of her shirt during that naughty swimsuit music video*

I just saw this movie tonight and I enjoyed it. It was pretty funny and I liked how it played around with stereotypes on all sides. However...

My enjoyment of the movie was almost ruined because I got stuck sitting behind this group of teenage girls who were laughing as loud as possible at everything and making comments out loud (almost yelling sometimes). I was just about ready to throw a fist full of popcorn at them and yell at them to shut up, but I'm about as much of a nonconfrontational person as you can get.

Anyone who's seen the movie'll remember these scenes: They're in the classroom. It's at the very begining of the movie, just as Cady gets in.
Student: Nice wig, Janis. What's it made of?
Janis: Your mother's chest hair!

Damien [to Cady], matching her hair to his: Is that your natural hair color?
Cady: Yeah.
Damien [to Janis]: This is the hair color I want.
Janis [smiling]: This is Damien. He's almost too gay to function.
I saw that movie about a week ago. It wasn't too bad, although there were some parts that were a bit tedious. Karen was hilarious. :-P I loved Freaky Friday, I thought that Lindsay and Jamie Lee Curtis did a great job in that movie.

I agree. That is the one good Freaky Friday remake to date. Anyway... Anyone else seen Mean Girls and would like to comment about it? :D

Saw it on Tuesday. Only bad thing was (well, apart from the first bit with the school bus) that I had to miss the beginning and the drug scene.

Miss Lohan was, of course, brilliant. I did not see Lindsay Lohan for one moment there...and I hardly even recognised Lacey Chabert.

Brining up and old topic again, I've seemed to have made a habit of this, lol. Anyways, I didn't see this movie when it was in theatre's, really wanted to though. But anyways, my friend bought it so I went over to her house to watch it and I just loved it! I'm so jealous of the Lindsay Lohan character, she is so pretty and so good at math, and I'm neither of those things, lol. It was way too funny. Now I want to buy it, but I have to wait a couple of weeks because I'm broke.

Yeah, I thought this movie was really funny. I would SO join Mathletes and wear my jacket to a school dance!!

Tiff, I must say that your first post is wrong. Many, many girls are not catty, backstabbing sluts. Girls CAN actually care about each other, you know.
“See this butt? Yeah. Look at it. LOOK AT MY BUTT. This is all you’re getting. MY BUTT to look at it. Yeah, bet you’re sorry now, aren’t you? You’d like to see my cute fuzzy face, wouldn’t you? But all you’re getting is the BUTT. LOOK AT IT. LOOK AT MY BUTT. Sucker.”
The thing is, Henrietta has—how can I put this? Kind of a big butt. If Henrietta were a celebrity? She’d be J-Lo.
Not that J-Lo has what I would call a big butt. But others have opined that this is so. I think J-Lo has a normal, healthy butt. As does Henrietta.

Sweetie, next time..please read my post carefully.

1) You cannot decide that my opinion is "wrong".
2) I never said "sluts". Ever.
3) I said MOST women act that way, and at the very least, we've acted that way at ONE point or another.
4) Sarcastic humor, love. Learn it.

I'm quite aware that girls can care about eachother. What, do you think I have NO girl friends whatsoever?

I feel so behind the times. It took this long for this movie to reach me on the Hold List at the library. Insane, isn't it? I was starting to forget that I even placed the hold....which shows how popular it was.

Anyway, I finally saw it tonight. Really interesting film. Reminded me a little about my years in school. Some girls who were nasty no matter what how much you tried to stay out of their way. That was just in elementary school.

Other than that, it was very funny. Karen never ceased to amaze me at how airheaded she could be. Regina just made me want to slap her through most of the movie. I'm just glad that everything worked out in the end. Although seeing the next generation of Plastics was a little creepy.

I finally saw this movie over christmas break with my mom, and I have to say, it was really cute.

Caty's friends, the goth-esque girl and the gay guy, cracked me up to no end...and the way the Plastics and Caty acted is so true.

I'm glad there was a little more definition to it than most "teen" movies.
