I found this wierd little MPEG file a week or two ago. It's got clips of Master Asia and his Master Gundam (from G Gundam) to the song from some old giant robot anime (Mazinger Z, I think. The singer's a little hard to understand)
-_- Damn song's been stuck in my head since I found it...

The OPs, the EDs, the battle themes, the character songs, the eyecatches, the songs-that-were-never-in-the-anime-but-they-put-on-cds-anyway, the songs from the Bemani games I've played, you name it, chances are I've had it in my head and hummed or sang along. I've memorized a lot of Japanese songs phonetically, not out of intent, but just out of repeated listening. A few songs I know by heart because I happen to know the meanings of all the words, and I can sing along just like I would a song in English. I am neither self-conscious nor proud of this--to me, music has just always been part of my life, something sacred to me, and since I became an anime fan, Japanese music has been at the vanguard of my collection.
