Why don't you tell that to the families of those hurt or killed in these accidents? I'd love to see their reaction when you tell them that their son or daughter's death really isn't that important. These things are terrible. I feel sadder hearing about bomb threats and such than hearing about most other things. These are children. I may not like children, but I defend them. No child deserves this kind of thing. No one in general deserves this kind of thing, and especially children. The way you can sit back and casually say that disgusts me.whitewolf05 wrote:Sad to say but yes we have had bomb threats, but we also have had shotings, riots, and killings and ofcourse the media makes it worse the it seems.
More on topic, the closest we've ever had to a bomb threat at my school was a few years ago. There was this senior named Jason Gilbert, and a letter found its way to the principal that if Jason and any of his friends showed up at school on a certain day, they would be shot. So the principal told Jason that if he and his friends didn't come to school that day, they wouldn't be counted absent. Of course, many students who didn't even know Jason used that for a free day, but Jason and his friends actually came. They said that if anyone wanted to shoot them, then come out and do it now. It was really impressive. He remains to this day one of the bravest people I've ever met.
