Stupid things done with cars.
What are some of the most stupid things you've seen people do with their cars?
This picture at http://www.livejournal.com/community/_wtf/88588.html really did make me say 'wtf' out loud. What are your thoughts on this one?
Another one would be the car from the Legally Blonde movies. I forget the ditzy girl's name now.
Sorry, I don't have many to share at the moment ^^
What are some major 'what were they thinking?!' vehicles that you've seen?

...wow. That's incredibly stupid-looking.
I hate when people take little sports cars that are ALREADY low, and then get those tires that stick WAY out..it just looks idiotic.
and another thing that bothers me is when people write all over their car windows..with that white shit. I don't know why it irritates me so, but it does. It's usually dumb things like "JODIE LOVES BILLY!" or "SENIORS 2004 WE RULE".

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

I totally agree about the writing. No one cares that much.
Another thing that aggravates me is people will install very loud and annoying speakers and amplifiers around their cars (such as in the trunk) so that they can share their music with everyone, even though noone else wants to hear it. Yes, I actually knew someone who did this.

>.< and then they turn their bass down so low that it shakes their car and any cars remotely near it? I was next to a car yesterday and the bass and music were so loud that it literally gave me a headache. Instantly. I wanted to shoot his tires out.jupiter23 wrote:I totally agree about the writing. I think the Seniors rule thing is ok like after a major football game and a parade for it or something like that, but afterwards it gets old and annoying. I also think it's annoying when they have ordinary trucks driving around something like a school parking lot with those Monster Truck wheels. It's stupid because it looks ugly on them and because a school parking lot is NOT the place for something like a Monster Truck style wheels at all, especially on a regular truck.Tiff wrote:...wow. Right, but when they leave it on for 5 months after that, it's like "...okay, dude, homecoming is OVER." What really gets me, though, is the pointless messages, like "so and so loves so and so" or "BABYGIRL!!" and stupid shit like that.Cardcaptor Takato wrote:I think the Seniors rule thing is ok like after a major football game and a parade for it or something like that, but afterwards it gets old and annoying

3 words: Dixie car horn. No kidding. A redneck I went to high school with had it installed in his Mustang, and every afternoon (till the school made him take it out), he'd speed through the parking lot honking.

On top of that, I also think it's really stupid when people take trucks that are already high up to begin with, and they jack them up even higher. Not only does it look stupid, but it also raises a safety concern. When you jack a vehicle way up like that, the weight becomes unevenly balanced and then the truck is more likely to tip over if you hit a pot hole with it. As far as I'm concerned, that should be illegal.Tiff wrote:...wow. That's incredibly stupid-looking.

And if that guy doesn't drive around in it with a large dog sitting next to him, he's wasting one hell of a funny opportunity...

My mom actually asked a guy at an intersection one time while we were waiting on a red light to turn down his music, because it was giving us a headache. The guy at first did not hear her, and had to turn down his music to hear her repeat herself, which she hates doing. All he did was give her this "Fuck You" look and turned his music back up. The people who do this sort of thing usually are not thinking of the people around them, and have this guy's attitude. This just makes me angry.Tiff wrote:>.< and then they turn their bass down so low that it shakes their car and any cars remotely near it?
