Other Sailor Moon forums

Post by Emma » Tue Apr 27, 2004 10:15 am

Well, I was going to post this in the Sailor Moon topic but it really doesn't belong there. Anywho, I went to 3 different Sailor Moon forums cause well...I thought I go see what other people are saying about Sailor Moon. I wish I didn't...my eyes, tummy, and head are in pain now (mostly cause of me laughing my ass off). I don't get why there is such a need to rpg about Sailor Moon plus they ask questions and getting the wrong answers too. Good example, sailormoon.com if your bored one day just read two topics and then leave. Believe me, your save your brain cells for doing it. I don't get people when they say "I know everything about Sailor Moon" but then give incorrect answers. Sure, its human nature to make mistakes but come on "Sailor Earth". Well I'm done ranting.

I agreed with everything you said but that. Plenty of people role play Sailor Moon, and other anime-based plots. I myself just finished running a Sailor Moon-based roleplay with Anthy and Parakiss. If it's done right and it's not just pointless attacks being shouted, it's a lot of fun.

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

Oh I see! Well, that make sense in a way. See the ones I was reading was like you said people shouting attack names (I'm just assuming that because some of them were misspelled) and most of the topics were the same. Example, the one I saw the most was "This is Sailor V, help me destory evil, because they killed my parents" or it was nasty topics dealing with Sailor Mars is sleeping with Sailor Moon and oh no her boyfriend caught them. I thought it made no sense and was like ok? Anywho, I don't get what is so great about Sailor Moon getting it on with another chick. *yeah that was so middle school...hehe  *

Well, that's not organized roleplaying. The roleplaying I do has a plot, many pre-decided directions in which it could go, set characters, and rules. The crap your'e describing is merely a bunch of fans getting together, wishing they were "sailor scouts" and "attacking" their enemies. It's a display of stupidity, IMO.

And as for Sailor Moon shacking it up with Mars...a word of advice to you: Don't ever read Sailor Moon Hentai fics. You wouldn't like them if something liek that bothers you.

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

Oh it doesn't bother me about girls with girls. Hell, if you love someone no matter what gender they are screw the world and you stay happy! But yeah I can't picture Usagi-chan with Rei-chan...I guess because of me watching Live Action Sailor Moon I pictured the two actress...yeah thats what happens when you watch to much Live Action Sailor Moon.
And because too now I think my stuff cat can do karaoke like Luna did in Act 14.
Actually, Usagi and Rei are one of the most popular pairings in SM hentai fics, as are Makoto and Ami.

Oh, I know how you feel about sailormoon.com. I heard a lot about some of their stupidty here at SMU and wanted to see it for myself, but I couldn't read any of the posts unless I joined it, so I did. I as well, get very pissed off when people start threads claiming they know everything about Sailor Moon. One example was when someone claimed to know everything about Sailor Moon and somebody asked a question about the DVDs and they said "Oh, I cna't help you with that." Why do they say they know everything about Sailor Moon and then turn around and can't answer your questions? Also, who cares if they know everything about Sailor Moon? Isn't that being conceited?

Are you sure that they're RPGing at sailormoon.com? I don't know about you, but sometimes I wonder if they actually think they're real "Sailor Scous." >< I also get really annoyed by all those threads people start claiming that Sailor Moon is coming back to CN this summer even though there's so much evidence that it isn't. Btw, Emma, what's your name at sailormoon.com so I can keep an eye out for you? My name there is the same one I have here. I also post at www.tuxedomask.com which is pretty much like sailormoon.com, but a little tamer.

LOL, if you go to genvid.com, sometimes on their front page, they'll take a few posts from sailormoon.org and will make fun of them... these are the only ones I've seen, and I know that I'm safe on SMU, so I'm staying here, because it's not polluted like other places :P

Actually Tiff, some still shouldn't be read at all. I thought Evening at Lita's was one of the sickest things I've ever read.

*shrug* I've read even sicker than that (yes, I've read Evening at Lita's.) People will go to no lengths to create filth. A well-written hentai fic is one thing...but shit like "The Master of Bate" is just filth.

Hm...I never heard of those before. And from the sound of it, I don't think I want too.

Oh I like it here too...I'm happy that this fourm is safe but I have to look at other fourms, why I don't know. Just trying to keep an open mind. Though at times I would like to close the door but I'm to stubborn too.

Ah, yes, the Sailormoon dot com forums. Cough. I think most of you know my opinion on sm.com, but if you don't, it's pretty much filled with morons, to be short.

*shrug* It's sexual fantasy. It happens. During fantasy, people take any two people and make them do whatever they want.

Ahem...

... Chibiusa's 7th Birthday ...

I wouldn't want to subject anyone to that one in any form, even the MST take on it.

And no discussion of vomit-inducing hentai fics would be complete without mentioning "Artemis' (sic) Lover" But good H Sailormoon stuff can be found--generally, though not exclusively, the stuff at A Sailor Moon Romance is ok.

The Ami-Makoto pairing makes a kind of sense since the idea is to put the largest Senshi together with the smallest one.
