Anyone listen/watch this great comedian? OMG he's awesome. I'd really recommed him to you all. He's great.

Carlin is funny when he does cultural and linguistic humor. He's got one routine where he lists just about every potentially dirty word in about 5 minutes--that's humorous and educational! And his stuff about the airplane procedures is must-have for anyone flying.

But is religious and political humor I like less. The problem with political humor is that you're going to tick off half your audience before they even have a chance to laugh. Even more so with religious humor. I find Carlin's "anti-establishment" stuff to be at best anachronistic, more fitting for Vietnam-era audiences, and at worst counter to my own views such that it drains the humor out of it.

I agree! I love those skits/performances. I have them on my iPod. They play on random! ^_^

i actually like his religious humor, alot of the things he says do make sense in my opinion. i also love his anti-children attitude-i hate kids so much! all these jokes do is make me laugh. others might find them offensive though, but you know...
