Aaah yes, that's all very true. I used to be very worried that people would say "no you're NOT, you're only saying it to be KEWL!" when I told them. It's like, uh, okaaay... how the hell do I prove it?
Not that people of any orientation should have to prove their sexuality to others, but such is life. Bwah.

This is how a conversation at the bus stop between me, a girl, a freak, and my brother today-
Girl: [messes around with my hair]
Me: What are you doing?
Girl: [says nothing]
Freak: Stay straight! Stay straight!
Girl: Are you a homophobe?
Freak: You mean afraid of gays and lesbians?
Girl: Yes.
Freak: Well, yeah!
Brother: [shakes head]
Me: Why?
Freak: Because they're weird. All gay guys are like: [does stupid feminine gesture]
That got me really pissed off. I wanted to hit him.

i don't mean to keep bashing my friends, but if you've read my previous posts you'd see this subject just makes it all too easy. my friend from earlier, @#%$!, also tends to think that all gay dudes are "girly little bitches." he was talking about this one guy he thinks to be gay and i said: "dude, if that guy heard you saying that, he would probably kick your ass" and he said: "he couldn't kick my ass, he's gay!" that really pissed me off! what does sexual orientation have to do with physical ability? and this was coming from a 16 year old that couldn't beat up his friend's 10 year old brother!

i think the funniest thing in the world WOULD be to see a gay guy kick a homophobe's booty, simply because it would be the most humiliating thing for that guy.

Everyone at my school, is anti-gay. It pisses me off, my friends are as well. I'm always accused of being gay, just because I like Sailor Moon. And I always talk about my friend (gay), and how he likes Boy George. And my friends always taut me about that.

It really pisses me off when people refer to things they don't like as 'gay'. You guys probably know what I mean.
ie: That movie was 'gay'.
This bothers me a lot and I'd rather hear people say something like 'that movie was whacked' instead.

I'm guilty of this! >< I deserve to be shot. j/k no I don't but I use it like that without realizing it.. The same goes for when people ask me how I am and I say "I'm good." Bad habit. I should try and break it.

I know what you mean. They should use words in the right way, or make some up. "You are so gay" usually translates to "You are so stupid". So now, gay is the new stupid? I try to tell my friends to not use the word. Now, they moved onto faggot -_- "You mean, pile of sticks?" I love that line ^_^ Then I hit them for improper vocab.

That reminds me that one time in school, some guys were saying that Buffy is gay and I said, "Just because Tara and Willow are in love with each other doesn't mean that Buffy's a lesbian" and a girl in class happened to be walking by when I said that and she was like "A-what?!" ^^

I never get bothered when anyone says something is ghay. (Which is actually how it was first spelled. It's similar to "phat." Take a word, change it's spelling but leave it's prononciation alone.) Cause they're not saying it's homosexual in nature and therefore bad.
And I've noticed something else about the words fag and dyke. They're kind of like the n-word. Homosexuals can say them, but heteros can't. Kinda like African Americans can say that word, but others can't. I use fag and dyke every now and then, but it depends on the person I'm talking to. Some people are offended by the terms, so I don't use them around those people. *shrugs* I guess it's just a matter of personality.

Yeah, but like I said...It's not that I don't like it becuase it has to do with homosexuality (cuz it doesn't, like you said)..it'sj ust stupid-sounding.
I don't care for the words "dyke" and "fag" either, when they're used in a homosexual context. I prefer the original meaning of the words.

I agree with that also. Not only is it degrading (in my opinion), but it's just stupid. You wouldn't use 'gay' in that way during a job interview, so why do it in everyday life?

Yeah... they did that one South Park. the one with the 162 shit saying spree. Mr. garrison was flaunting that he could say fag without getting bleeped.

Neither do I. If I used those words, then I would feel like I wasn't any better than the people who do use them in an insulting or other way.

Oh. My. Fssking. Gawd.
I know EXACTLY what you guys mean about "bi" girls. This complete bullshit that some girls pull just to get attention from guys. They're not actually bisexual--it's not hard to kiss someone else. It's more catering to a fantasy. Gah, it's so fake.
Bisexuality isn't about sleeping with everyone you see or taking multiple partners at a time (threesomes, etc)--it's about being attracted to both sexes for yourself, not to get attention.
Honestly, I don't give a shit if people think being gay is wrong and it offends them. I just don't want my personal life being interrupted by someone who thinks they know more about me than I do. Nunya business!
But trendiness is always open to criticism.

Couldn't agree more. I don't care what people think so long as they don't try to make me think the same thing.

I don't like it when people refer to homosexuals as 'fags' and 'dykes', when used seriously (as to offend)
Like my friends and I always joke about Eugene (a villain from Big O) calling him 'Eugene the fag'. But aside from that, I won't say anything like
"Oh yeah, a friend of mine is a total faggot"
"Yeah, did you see that dyke walk by?"
And my friends are such assholes when it comes to anything gay related. "yeah I don't like gays, I'm a homophobe"
My friend's dad said he wanted all gays to be sent off to an island so they can catch AIDs and die. After she told me that I was so pissed.
"Your dad is a prick" was the FIRST thing that came to my mind.
I really couldn't believe it. How freaking disgusting that was. Homosexuals are humans too.
"What makes you so different from Hitler and the way he thought of the Jewish?"
It just makes me sick to hear that. Since I lots of gay friends, and a really good family friend lives near us (Saw her coming home with her new 'cousin' ^^) who is also a homosexual stuff like this REALLY gets me.

hey, do we have the same friends? i swear, i think my friends are gay themselves, i guess they'll have to finally come out before they realize how stupid they are being. unlike them of course, i wouldn't care. i asked a friend of mine if i were gay would he still be friends with me-he said no, nice of him. honestly, i don't really understand what people' problem with gay people are. seriously, how does someone else's sexual preference personally effect you? why are some people just so close-minded?
