Who do you look like? (Family Resemblance)

I look like my mother..or at least everyone says that. I've seen pictures of her when she was younger, and I do resemble her a lot. I haven't seen my father since I was four, but from pictures I've seen, the only features of his I can see in myself are my eyes and ears, and even those two are overshadowed by my mother's features. I have her tall stature, large build, generally round features, dark skin, and straight teeth. My nose and hair are a toss-up: I think I have my maternal grandfather's nose. My mother had naturally straight hair (due to Indian blood) and my father had really curly hair, and my hair is basically straight, but waves slightly. If I grew it out, it may look like Mischiru's hair, but not nearly as wavy. I guess I got my voice from my mother's side: my father has a medium-toned scraggily voice, and most of the men in my mother's family have ridiculous deep voices like me.

Personality-wise, I have a lot in common with my mother, and we have the same interests and similar opinions in almost everything (which we usually are in the minority in). I have the (maternal) family talents, and like my mother, I don't urge to make a career out of them. (She regrets that to this day.)

So who do you look like? Your mom, dad, uncle, aunt, grandparent..nobody?

My face and my smile look like my Mom, but people also say my expressions are identical to my Aunt Rose (dad's sister.) My build is like my dad's; big boned, kinda stocky, and I have his dark, thick hair.

I've got my dad's blonde hair and green eyes. I think I look a little more like his side of the family than I do my mom's, mostly because in a senior picture of mine, I look exactly like my Aunt (on my dad's side) in her senior year picture. I've got my mom's hair "quirks" tho. Like, the left half of my bangs flip out and the right half curl under normally. It's all her fault.

I have neither of my parents' build, tho, both are...not tall, but not short, and I'm pretty tall. I'm taller than almost everyone in my family, so I don't know *where* that came from.

Everyone says I look like a little Mary (my mom). I have my dad's chin and sense of humor. I also have his eyes. Everything else seems like it comes from mom. My temper, my looks and my attitute, my dark curly hair. Mom says that I have my aunt Zandra's weight trouble and ability to say things bluntly, but dipolmatically. She also says I'm like my cousin Linda....fashionable and clean, but not the best housekeeper. Actually I can keep a house neat and clean, but I just am lazy when it comes to my room.

Me and my cousins all have the same characteristic. We are all born BLONDE....almost WHITE BLONDE, and as we grow older our hair darkens to either a brown or a sandy blonde. (My hair right now bleaches really easily in the sun so it's a sandy blonde on top and a dark brown on the sides. Whenever i wear a hat people ask me if i dyed my hair, to which i respond i haven't).

Granted, these are my cousins that were born.....legitametely. I arguably have 3 cousins that aren't related to me (due to possible extra-marrital affairs).

The weird thing is that none of the adults (my parents/uncles/aunts) have blonde hair save maybe one, but all the children (save the illegitimate) have blonde hair that gradually darkens. It turns out that all my uncles had blonde hair when they were kids too.

Apparently I have a lot of traits from my mom's side of my family....which kind of scares me since all the guys there are bald. NOOOOOOOOOO. Aside from my blonde hair i don't look like my dad's side at all.......nor do i act like them =P.

Everyone says that I look like my grandmother. We're both really, really skinny, and we have long and narrow feet, and brown hair. Only I'm WAY taller than she is (I'm only 13 and I'm 5 feet 8 1/2 inches tall), which I get from my dad's side of the family. Everyone in my family is brunette, except for my sister, who's blonde. 0.o My mom also says that I look like my dad's grandmother, like with the same mouth and everything, but I see no resemblance.

I get most of my looks from my Dad, from the "Ross" side of the family. I'm tall and thin, am developing a double chin(Gods, I hate that) and have a deep love of salt. For us, salt is the bane of life.

Well, I have mostly mixed, but my mom likes to say I look like her side more.

From my dads side: My small physique of being skinny and not that tall (compared to my 6'2" brother, I'm very short), the dark (almost black) brown eyes.

Then from my moms side: Small feet, her chin (no cleft, unlike my dads side), nose (which is much smaller than my dads side, being italian and all O_o), and small ears. My moms hair (wavy beyond control without straitening it to death), and her skin tone (very pale). The only difference in our skin tones is that I can get tan easily but fades, and my mom can't get tan at all. ^_^ So theres an up side so my skin I guess.

My moms dad was bald, so I hope I don't get that O_o I have pretty thick hair right now, so I hope it stays. But then on my dads side, his father is bold, and one brother is bald and the other is having thining hair O_O But my dad has a head full of hair for the time being. I ph34r the future.

i'm always told i look like my dead father, so i'm kind of the equivalent of a walking ghost. all the people on his side generally tend to avoid me for this reason. i saw a picture of him, i guess we kind of look similar, except for the fact that he could grow facial hair and i can't.

I look very much like my Nana when she was young in fact very much like her that wehn we had a photo of her when she was young people thought it was me. I've also been told ( by mum)I look like my mum's twin sister when I grin or smile wihc by defualt means I look like mum too. Don't think I look like anyone fomr dad family however.

I look like my mother. I'm tall and skinny (with a bit of a belly, which I guess I got from my dad or my eating habits.. lol either one). OT:: My brother looks like my dad. heh.

I pretty much look like my mom and brother, except my skin and hair is much darker than my mom's, (She's pale and light brown haired, i'm tan and dark brown haired) and my brother's hair is more curly. People have told me that my brother and I have our father's smile and eyes. Oh yeah, I'm also short like my mom's side unlike Lenn, who's tall like our dad's side -.-;;
