i also hate that one black guy that emma likes (he's not even important enough for me to remember his name). he sounds like he's talking out of his nose and he is so CORNY! but, i do hope they keep him on; for one thing so jimmy will no longer be the token black guy, and two, because he's just so corny it's funny. "aw yeah! it's your boy c-dog in the house!"

leave jt alone!! no, i'm just kidding. anyway, speaking of degrassi, i would also like to mention that i hate sean. he is just the goofiest tough guy i've ever seen, he plays that "hurtin inside guy" role way too much. he completly backstabs his friends and then he's always pushing on jimmy which i hate because-unlike sean-i actually like jimmy.

Oh, yeah, 100% agree. The host is supposed to be funny, but not by playing the games or stepping on the regulars. And what is the point of saying "1000 points to everyone" after every game. We know the points don't matter, so why bother giving them out unless you're going to make a joke out of them? The only thing I can think of that it's a tip of the hat to fans of the British version, without any actual work, in which case, to paraphrase another Brit, 10 out of 10 for trying, minus several million points for good thinking.crazydiamond wrote:I forgot one. Drew Carrey from Whose Line Is It, Anyway?. I LOVE that show, it's hilarious, but I can't stand the host. I like Clive Anderson much better. He's British. Anyway, I hate how Drew has to somehow get himself involved in the show he's hosting. Damn, he hosts the thing, he should be satisfied. I tuned in to see Ryan and Colin do "Film Noir," not Drew doing something that isn't even funny. Grr. He should just keep is fat butt behind the desk and give out imaginary points.
Also, I don't particularly like Wayne Brady on this show either. It seems like all he does on this show are race jokes and songs. And the songs for the most part aren't good. I only like the "gimmick" songs--hoedown/Irish drinking song. The Song Styles and Album Collection games are terrible. (Especially with Ryan and Colin struggling to think up silly titles and genres. It's just painful) I wish they would bring over Tony Slattery.
Of course, no one compared in sheer badness to John Sessions, but thankfully he's long gone.
I'd have to agree with the person who said they hated J.T. Granted, I haven't seen DeGreassi in ages, but that episodes where he stuffed his shirt and started mocking his teacher really was not funny and annoyed the heck out of me. His voice didn't help either (though not his fault): thankfully his voice deepened. Also to my list....
Saved By the Bell- Screech I already only watched the show for the handsome Mark-Paul Gosselar (Zack) and Mario Lopez(Slater!!!
). When I tried to pay attention to the plots and not the boys, I got Screech's idiocy and exaggerated naivety. From what I remember, the original Screech was just a smart kid, who was slightly shy. With each passing season, his character got dumber and dumber and dumber. I've heard of intelligent people with wacky personalities, but Screech just went to far..plus he always let his more attractive and popular friends take advantage of him, yet I only remember him confronting them about it once (specifically to Zack). Any redeeming qualities a particular episode had was ruined when Screech opened his mouth.
Mad TV- the new cast-I wish they'd kept the original '95 cast, and maybe Alex Borsetein and Will Sasso (loved his Steven Seagal sketches), but NO!! They had to keep Mo Collins(only funny when paired up with Nicole Sullivan and Deborah Wilson), that McDonald guy (never funny), all the new people, and get rid of ALL the original cast. It's not even funny anymore: just stupid.

*blink* If he's a real guy on a reality show, then he's not necessarily a character. That's his REAL personality, isn't it?Jonathan wrote:Jacquise from Real World San Diego. He's there for no reason. Pete from Smallville. He is neither developed, nor annoying. He is neither stupid, nor clever, nor even moderately intelligent. He isn't anything. This is because he's never in the frickin' show, but for some reason he's still in the credits. And yet when he DOES appear he seems very sweet. But do they do anything with him? Nooooo. Just get rid of him, then...
On a different Smallville note: ARGH LANA LANG she is so annoying. "Lana love Clark!" "Lana not love Clark!" "Lana make stupid decision on irrational five-second glance from some stranger, or something!" And they all treat her like she's perfect when she's just really irritating. Gah.
Anyway, that's enough Smallville fandom... ^^;

God, I cannot stand Lana. She makes me want to punt her off a bridge. She's so damn indecisive and just plain irritating, as you said.Kez-chan wrote:

Well then his REAL personality sucks. It's just like what yamijounouchi said about Chopper from Making The Band, except my beef is with Jacquise from Real World...Tiff wrote:*blink* If he's a real guy on a reality show, then he's not necessarily a character. I like Lana. She's beautiful. Sure she's indecisive, but I don't find her the least bit irritating. I think she's just vulnerable. I mean, she nearly dies in almost every episode. 1) Then that doesn't count. On fictional television shows, a character's personality is written for them, and can be changed anytime, whereas a person's personality is a bit different, and much harder to change. This is a discussion about fictional characters, so let's stick to that, please.Jonathan wrote:

2) I think she's rather ugly myself, not to mention a snotty bitch to Clark several times in the beginning of the show and through the middle. Also, the fact that she nearly dies in every episode is part of what makes her so damn annoying. Does she ALWAYS have to play the victim? "Oh Clark! Save me! I'm dying!" "Clark, jesus, I don't need you saving me all the time!" "Oh, fuck, i've meddled and gotten myself in trouble again! SAVE ME!"

Ok, now I have to take the middle ground here: I think she's hot, but she's easily the worst character on the show right now. Her indecisiveness is really grating, and her personality is just downright awful. The contrived romance between her and Clark has really gotten out of hand; let's hope recent indicators on the show about their fate finally come to pass...

I'm kinda indifferent to Wayne. He does get annoying, since all he does is sing, but some of the stuff he comes up with on-the-fly is pretty funny. But I usually do switch channels when one of his games comes up. I have to disagree with you about Hoedown, tho. I can't *stand* that game, mostly because it's overdone. Personally, tho, I think the entire show should just be "Scenes from a Hat" and Party Quirks. I (heart) that game.Also, I don't particularly like Wayne Brady on this show either. It seems like all he does on this show are race jokes and songs. And the songs for the most part aren't good. I only like the "gimmick" songs--hoedown/Irish drinking song. Here here! Let Clark go out with Chloe, dammit. Chloe rocks. She's funny and actually has a spine, oh my god.Starscream wrote:Ok, now I have to take the middle ground here: I think she's hot, but she's easily the worst character on the show right now. Or even better, let Chloe go out with Lex. Hehe. Oooh, lovely Michael Rosenbaum...
