I thought those spongemonkey's were mutated rats or something. Quizno's commericals are all going downhill. I mean, who really wants to eat at a place that has that kind of thing doing advertising? makes me really start to question the food.

I feel sorry for the Trix Rabbit. How many years has it been now? He still hasn't gotten any trix. I'm surprised he hasn't gone mad and started flipping out.

I rather like the Truth commericals, they really make you think about the point they are making. That and the anti-drug commericals they have out now. It's smart to have ads like that. I really think the problem really needs to be addressed more.

The commericals that I can't stand are all those diet pills. How many are out on the market now? It's insane. That and I'm so sick of hearing about Geico. "I have some good news. 'What?' I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to Geico." They have been doing that with so many different themes. It's time to move on to a new concept.

Actually, around 12 - 13 years ago, can't remember how old I was but I was pretty young at the time, the Trix rabbit actually DID get to at a bowl of Trix. What happened in the first commerical is that he disguised himself as a kid and won some sort of event where the grand prize was Trix or something like that. After he won and was given the prize, it was founf out that he was the rabbit so they initially took it away for the moment and had a vote to whether or not the rabbit should get to have it, where on boxes there was a mail-in form (this was well before the Internet was in full swing) that kinds could send in with their vote for yes he can have it, or no he can't. After a month or two, all the votes were tallied, and the yes' won, therefore allowing the Trix rabbit to finally have Trix. I don't know if he had ever gotten any before then, but I know he hasn't gotten any since then.

Wow, this shows a sad state in my life. I can remember this stuff from over 10 years ago like that yet I can hardly remember things within a week. -_-;;;

I cannot remember that commercial at all. Maybe it's just me living under a rock, maybe it's Canada not airing the Trix commercials. I don't know, but I haven't seen the Trix commercials in ages.

Strange how that is what every scenario for Trix cereal commercials. I'd like to see something new from them.

I don't remember that commercial, but I still remember one where they brainwashed the Trix rabbit or something so he wouldn't want Trix and locked him up in a warehouse full of it to see if it worked. It was a 2-part commercial and advertisment for some prize in Trix cereal boxes, I think maybe 3-d glasses or something like that, but it all ended up being a plan from the Trix rabbit to get into the Trix cereal warehouse. They've finally changed the Cocoa Puffs commercials after so many years. They've been showing that same commercial of the kids at the roller coaster for almost 4 freakin' years now and they've finally changed it to him doing some crossword puzzle thing. Thank goodness they at least changed it, as it was about to get on my nerves for seeing it so many freakin' times.

I'm glad they changed it too, but it bothers me that Sonny (the bird) isn't wearin clothes anymore. What's up with that? He wore clothes in all the other commercials...I think. Didn't he wear a shirt?

Yeah, I remember that! Wasn't it a bike race or something like that? The rabbit won it and one of the judges said "The rabbit wins the Trix" and the other argues "No! Trix are for kids!" and they had the vote thing on the back of Trix boxes, and in the second part of the two part episode, they revial that more people voted yes and the rabbit just went crazy eating all the Trix.

Actually, I really like the Spongemonkey Quizno's commercial. It's so damn funny, it's pretty easy to sing along to (come on, we all can sing that badly), and it's somehow convincing. I wanted a Quizno's sub before, and now I want one even more.

Slightly OT, but I know you'll all love this. When those Quiznos commericals with the spongemonkeys started, like I already said, my initial reaction was to get really high. I mentioned this to a few friends, and most had the same initial reaction that I did. After some thinking, I came up with a theory of what Quiznos was hoping to accomplish with these commericals:

Consumer sees commerical
After viewing of commerical, consumer gets high
High people get hungray, and have short attention spans, so the obvious first thing on their mind is to eat at Quiznos
(some might look for random coupons to get $1/sub for each coupon)
They will make the walk to the nearest Quiznos
When they get there, each person will buy at least 10 subs
Many sub purchases per person = lots of money made

Yeah, the inside of my head is a hell of an interesting place... ^^;;;;;

They made a new, or more they just added new text and words, to the Quiznos commercial. It's the same thing but talks about saving cash or something.

Also, the Comedy Central commercial about how not everyone can do stand up comedy, gets really old really fast -_-;;; It isn't even remotly funny to have these crappy people try and do stand up. Just take them out back, and beat them up for even thinking they can be on TV and be funny.

I like the 'idea' behind the Comedy Central commercials, but the people really do suck. I absolutely can't stand the "Car alarm song" one.
Some new commercials I hate: The Volkswagon commercials, specifically the one with the big dumb guy screamin' at the car next to him. I HATE THAT GUY. I don't know why, exactly. I kinda like the one where the guy keeps asking "Did you feel that?" But only the first few times I see it a day.
Oh, and I like the Quizno's commercials. You guys ought to go to the site they're from (I can't remember the link), they have all sorts of fun songs by the spongmonkeys (there is no 'e'). My favorite is "We like the Moon" and the commercial for Spoon Guard.

I can't believe no one has talked about the commercials for the diseases and health problems that no one really wants to hear about people having, like herpies, constipation, and feminine itch. I know people need to learn about these drugs, but they can go to a doctor to do that! Like the once a week herpies medicine, starts out all nice and then theh woman goes "but things get ruined by my genital herpies." WTF? I don't want to hear about that! And some of those laxative commericals just freak me out...

:wink: I mentioned those earlier, Koi. But I wasn't specific. I don't think there should be commercials for *any* prescription drug, but the herpes ones are some of the worst.

Here's the some commericals that I hate:

1. Progressive- The Voo Doo one: It starts out with a woman on the computer and she was voodooing her ex-boyfriend because he was cheating on her. She kept voodooing him until his new girlfriend left him and he said very sadly with his head shrunk "Come back please!" and worse of all the woman was smiling. I just wanna voodoo her and the writer too. That commerical was unrealistic and mean-spirited.

2. Gushers- The Locker one: There 2 kids (1 boy and 1 girl) who was eating Gushers. The girls head was a watermelon and the boy was waiting for his head to turn orange so he stick in the locker, his head turns orange, and his head was stuck. Next she did a what an idiot face and left him there when school started. And At night when the janitor was cleaning guess what the boy's head was still stuck in the locker. Hello people arn't that mean in real life!

That's it for now!
