Good thing no one here lives in Norway. They have to pay 5 bucks a gallon for just regular gas. Not making this up.

I just thought about something.

One gallon equals five liters, right ?

So! Let's see what it's like in France:

1,41 dollar (1,16 euro) for ONE liter.

Makes it actually 7,05 dollars for a gallon of gas @_@;;;

Eh, I dunno.

If that were true, then they would be saying that France has the world's most expensive gas and not Norway.

That's 9-17 cents cheaper than me.

I had an idea that the gas stations could use to make more money. You know how the prices always end in .9? Well, they should slip a bar over the 9. No one will remember that this means a repeating decimal, and they'll make (almost) another tenth of a cent per gallon.

Looking up the consumption rate of gasoline, it would mean an additional $150 million in revenue.

Same here! It's truly a scam! I live in Bakersfield, CA, and we produce a lot of oil here, yet out gas prices are some of the highest! One of the many reasons why I don't like it here! : / Not to mention the part of town I live on has nothing to do. We burn up almost 20 dollars to get the mall and back! : (

It ranges from $2.85-$3.01 here. I almost cried the first time I saw it become 3 bucks, which was last week. :cry:

yeah gas prices are insane lately.

Maybe if we would stop going to war with the countries that give us gas we might not have as big a problem

Alternatively, if the countries that produce the oil would discourage violence and aggression against us and our allies, that would also help.

It's about 2.60 a gallon in Houston... it varies by city but averages to about that right now. (I think the cheapest I saw was 1.60 over in the next town... I'll have to make a stop there :) )

Oh, what a silly concept.

There's a gas station on the edge of town that shut down a long time ago. The price on the sign is 98¢. I wonder how many people want to burn that building down...

That's nothing. There is an old gas station in a town north of me that shut down quite some time ago, and the sign still reads .76 for unleaded fuel. This place is also pretty much in the middle of nowhere, so if someone has burned it down since the last time I saw it, I don't know.
