I know EXACTLY what you mean. I turned 15 not too long ago and at 6'0, everyone thinks I'm good at basketball for some reason. Tennis, too o_O

I'm 5', 6.5". That's kind of short. I always felt like I had an average height until high school started. I'm not sure if I like being somewhat short. I mean, I'm not really short, but I'm definitely not tall.

Oh well, I'm big where it counts :wink:.

TMI!! TMI!!!!!

I'm about 5'11" Kinda in the middle. There are a lot of people taller than me, and a lot shorter than me. I've never really minded. I can reach the things I need, so I'm fine.

I'm 5' 9.5" (and a girl, if you didn't know). I've pretty much stopped growing and I'm relatively happy with where I'm at. The whole "get this box down for me, will ya?" thing is kind of annoying though, especially when it's asked constantly. They could at least say thanks… I feel so used… ;_;

By the way, I'm actually somewhat afraid of being tall. I don't like feeling tall when I stand on a chair, I feel better sitting down. I didn't even like wearing shoes that had 1/4in taller soles than usual!

Maybe it's different for a short girl? My height's only been a problem once, and then I even got that fixed quickly.

I can relate to that too. I was around 6'2" at the age of 15 (I'm 23 now, which probably means I'm done growing) and people asked me if I played basketball all the time. I did when I was 10 or 11 but I was really never that good and last all interest later. When are people going to learn that not all tall people are automatically good at basketball?

Ehh? I think 5'8 is kind of tall even for a guy ... well, I guess it's not all that tall but it's definitely not short either. Either way it's a lot taller than me.

Normally it wouldn't bother me, but my brothers - 17 and 20 (I'm 23) - are taller. THAT'S what sucks :(

What I find interesting is that in real life, tall guys are favored over short guys. But with anime fans, people don't like Mamoru and Taiki, and they're the two tallest characters (of the good guys, that is). Not only that, but they both take on a male form in people's minds (Mamoru is ALWAYS male, and Taiki's very successful idol disguise is male). Do Sailor Moon fans have a thing against tall guys or something?

I don't dislike characters because of their features. It would be petty if I did. I dislike Mamoru because I don't care for overall personality or design and I no longer dislike Taiki. After watching more Sailor Stars, I have actualy devloped a better respect for him.

Well, I like Mamoru a lot in the first season ... he's a very cool, fun and amusing character there. I don't like him quite as much as the series progresses, though ... and as for Taiki, I remember thinking he was pretty cool before the comet episode. I don't think that the opinions of most of the people who dislike Mamoru and Taiki have anything to do with their height and appearances as much as it just has to do with the fact they don't like the character's personalities.

I know it has nothing to do with their heights...it was just something I found humorously ironic! :wink:
