Sorry, it's just all my friends in real life are too clingy so I tend to get real talkative...but i'll try to control my posts.

I have insightbb cable. Sometimes it's really finicky and undependable. It's still better than my old 36k that I had in 2001, though.

*sigh* I have dial-up… through an incompetent local ISP. If an estimated download time for my 56k says one hour, I can expect it to take about three. I know I need to be a more patient person, but when the connection cuts off after four hours… gahhh! Even worse is the fact that we couldn't get a new dial-up ISP without having to pay long-distance telephone charges (which we can't afford), all because the jerks in charge changed the freaking area code four years ago.

Ugh… I must be thankful for what I have, not angry about what I don't… must be thankful. >_<*

Comcast Digital Cable. ^^ When we first hooked it up, whoo baby watch me fly. Now the calbe has my mother's and brother's computers leeching off the single line via- link-system.
And really, why shouldn't we be afraid? In case you haven't heard, life is terminal. Cigarettes will kill you. So will your cellphone. Your car is a deadly weapon and alcohol is a quiet killer. Don't lick the lead-based paint on the walls. Don't lick the back of a postage stamp and certainly don't lick any strangers! That will bring you down quickly indeed. Don't drink the water but don't drink less than eight glasses a day. Your enviroment is toxic, your natural resources are dwindling, your days are numbered, but what ever you do, don't panic! The stress, don't you know, will kill you.

Same here ... in fact, we also have the digital cable/internet bundle.

Shaw's pretty good for speed, and also isn't too concerned about uploading. I got phoned once, but that was because I wasn't paying attention to my uploads and wound up doing something 60 GB up. Since then, I do about 10-15 GB up, and about 30-40 down, and Shaw has no problems.

A friend of mine typically does 40 GB up and 80 GB down on Shaw ... I hope he's not on my router!

Anyway, I used to have a 56 KBps dialup, but I've been on Shaw now for just over 4 years now.

I'm using a 56k modem AND I'm using Netzero. It's a winning combination, no?

Home : AOL Dial-up. Sucks BIIIIIIIIIG time. My comp screwed up once, got repaired, came back nice, I installed AOL 8.0 and the comp crashed at once, called the repair guy a second time, he came yesterday, and tried AOL again and it was responsible for the crash.

I'm happy I'm moving out some time in December. We'll take of Cable TV and we'll get DSL

School: High-speed DSL (meaning, faster than home DSL... ^^;;; )
I'm happy. (I'm typing from school now  )

Boyfriend's apartment: DSL.

I have Roadrunner. I used to have BlueLight, the dial-up service from K-Mart, but I wasn't supposed to use the phone line for internet since my dad was on call at his job, so he needed the phone clear 24/7. So, when I got a job I switched to Roadrunner and I'm content. ^__^
