Favorite Disney Movie or Character
My favorite Disney movie is Aladdin. The 1st one. The story and the animation is just great. I wonder when it'll come out on DVD...
My favorite Disney character is Hades, from Hercules. He was just so damn funny. IMO, Hercules would've really sucked without him.

My fav Disney movie is The Little Mermaid. I think it has a classic Disney movie and it proves you don't need flashy CGI for the animation to be good. Plus, The Little Mermaid is one of the few times where I don't mind the cheesy songs in Disney films because I actually felt like it was approiate for this film, since Ariel's singing plays a crucial role to the storyline.
I'm not sure if this really counts since I don't consider Finding Nemo to be a Disney film, but Dori from obiviously Finding Nemo is my fav Disney character because she reminds me so much of my mother by how she forgets everything every 5 seconds just like my mother. The rest of my family even nicknames my mother "Dori" because of this. ^^

I like alot of Disney movies and it's extremely hard for me to choose favorites. :/ If i have to choose, it would be a tie Between "Lilo and Stitch" and "The little Mermaid". Believe me people, that was a hard choice.
Favorite Character .. Mmm. I don't know.

And really, why shouldn't we be afraid? In case you haven't heard, life is terminal. Cigarettes will kill you. So will your cellphone. Your car is a deadly weapon and alcohol is a quiet killer. Don't lick the lead-based paint on the walls. Don't lick the back of a postage stamp and certainly don't lick any strangers! That will bring you down quickly indeed. Don't drink the water but don't drink less than eight glasses a day. Your enviroment is toxic, your natural resources are dwindling, your days are numbered, but what ever you do, don't panic! The stress, don't you know, will kill you.

I think my favorite Disney movie would have to be Beauty and the Beast. My all time favorite as a child, I used to watch it and watch it...In fact, when I broke my arm when I was about five, I went downstairs and watched Beauty and the Beast and my mother didn't even know there was something wrong with my arm until the movie was done.
Favorite Character: Donald Duck. Granted, the dude can't talk right, but he's just plain awesome. Also, the fact that he doesn't wear any pants might be plain strange, but the hat makes up for it all. Donald rocks.

Movies:
Dumbo - I love elephants (have them all over my room and house), and I adore this movie. The spirit and inspiration behind it moves me, and it never ceases to make me laugh...although the pink elephants part used to scare the shit out of me when I was young, but now I love it XD;; (Pink elephants on parade, here they come..!)
Beauty and the Beast - It's just pure magic. Beautiful animation, and touching characters.
Aladdin - HILARIOUS. Robin Williams MAKES that movie.
The Little Mermaid - I love the music, and the movie is a great one.
Finding Nemo - HILARIOUS. (and yes, it is Disney, becuase Disney owns Pixar, doesn't it?). It's also extremely touching, and not at all what I thought it would be.
Lady and the Tramp - So sweet, and a great classic.
Sleeping Beauty - Also a classic, and Milleficent kicks ass.
The Lion King - T___T
Characters:
Dori, Finding Nemo - Had me rollin throughout the entire movie...
Genie, Aladdin - Come on. He's just freakin hilarious.
Belle, Beauty/Beast - She reads, she's sarcastic, and she doesn't fall for fake shit. W00t.
Donald Duck - Yeah, like Lady of the Light said..he's just plain awesome.
Milleficent - she's like, the Galaxia of Disney =D

Favorite movies:
Wow, there's so many. But my absolute favorites include Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Tarzan, Pinocchio, Bambi, Dumbo, The Three Caballeros, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Fantasia, Lilo and Stitch, Toy Story 1 and 2, Monsters Inc., and Finding Nemo.
Favorite characters:
Donald Duck- for the same reasons already described.
Goofy- hilarious to watch and listen to. Please note that this not include Goof Troop Goofy.
Darkwing Duck- a superhero who isn't really that super, unless you mean super humorous. By far my favorite Disney Afternoon series.
Timon and Pummba (The Lion King movie ONLY)- after Aladdin's Genie, they're the best comic relief ever in a Disney work.
Genie, Aladdin- Best. Comic. Relief. EVER. Robin Williams rocks as the Genie! Can't wait for the movie to come out on DVD this October.
Maleificent, Sleeping Beauty- same reasons Tiff-san described. The sole interesting character in a pretty average Disney flick.
Dori, Finding Nemo- must I explain?
Mike, Monsters Inc.- another hilarious Disney/Pixar character along the lines of Dori.
Hades, Hercules- the best of the humorous Disney villians. I agree with Jonathan-san that Hercules would have been really boring without him.
Yzma, The Emperor's New Groove- much like Hades, she MADE the movie.

Favourite Disney Character: Yzma and Malificent, from The Emperor's New Groove and Sleeping Beauty, respectively. Yzma is absolutely hilarious, and Malificent was so evil and powerful. I <3 her!

I think we're leaning more toward animated disney movies, but then again, no criteria was specified.Hino_Rei552 wrote:

Belle: The first Disney girl I ever knew. Plus, she's a fellow bookworm.
Jasmine: I dunno, I just loved her outfit and attitude. ^^
Dory and Marlin: Dory can almost always stay happy during the worst situations, which is a trait I never will have but will continue to admire. And I can relate to Marlin in terms of personality.
Goofy: For the reasons Neo Dead Moon gave, and the fact that I just love dogs. ^-^

*nods in agreement*Mercurius wrote:Mickey Mouse (not the Disney World mascot Mickey, but the Mickey Mouse from the 1930's cartoons and comic strips)
Mickey was really cool in the late 1920s/1930s when he actually had an edge to him...you know, when he wasn't afraid to fight back when people bullied him. And I liked the odd misadventures he'd get in with Donald and Goffy with him in many cartoons in the 30's, as well. But then Disney and the animation staff decided to make him a boring, domesticated mouse. It was really sad when Mickey's dog Pluto was starting to generate more laughs (and cartoons) than his owner. And this is from the character that represents all of Disney animation?! Oi..
