And we do have scouts organizations but since I've never been in any, I dunno if they ever sold cookies.

Some names of cakes (I know these are not cookies but still it's eatable) you HAVE to try when you come ! Exact literal translation given when available lol!

- Paris-Brest (yes, it's the real name! no translation, they're towns lol)
- Eclair au chocolat (Chocolate Lightning)
- Pain au chocolat (the real ones, though

- Chocolate Bread, you may know that lol)
- Mille feuilles (A thousand leaves)
- Religieuse au chocolat/café (Chocolate or Coffee Nun - no offense to religion, you just have to taste that

)

That's all I can think of for the moment.

Heck, I'll now try to cook some cookies to see if I can do it >.< lol!

So when is that cookie selling period in the US anyway ? I have a friend living on Long Island, she might get some for me

Ooh..Thin Mints....

Here's something you do with Thin Mints...Thin Mint ice cream!

You need the following

1 box of Thin Mints, preferablly chilled
Vanilla ice cream
Chocolate syrup
Whipped cream, sprinkles etc. (optional)

Hears what you do:

1. Scoop out a scoop of vanilla ice cream in a bowl.
2. Crumble Thin Mints into ice cream
3. Pour chocolate syrup over it all and add any extra toppings (the more chocolate syrup, the better!)
4. Enjoy!

That sounds really yummy. I love Vanilla Ice Cream and I love Thin Mint cookies, so I'll have to try it out sometime. It's a shame that we're all out of Thin Mint cookies now and Girl Scouts won't be selling them for another year. I know I can bug my mother to buy them at the store for me the next time she goes, but the fun of Girl Scout Cookies is that they only come once a year, so I think I'll just wait until next year. Hopefully, I'll be able to remember this recipe by then. ^^;;
