The 46th Annual Grammy Awards
Are you watching it/already watched it? If so, what is your opinion on it? I didn't see it, so I can't comment (though everyone else in my house is watching them at this very moment).

I didn't know it was on *shrug*
Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

Yeah, I watched the Grammy Awards. I missed the first 30 minutes or so, because I forgot it was on.
The performance with Sting and Sean Paul was awful! If they were unknowns performing at a club they would have been booed off the stage. The beat was really effed up.
Beyonce’s performance was alright, but she took the vocals too far. She should have stopped, but she kept on going. Other than that she was pretty good.
I’m not even going to comment on Justin Timberlake, because he scares me. O_O
The funk part was actually pretty interesting. I would have never imagined Earth Wind and Fire and Outkast on the same stage…
The Foo Fighters were good. I also thought that the performance of “Hey Ya” was good too. That song is stuck in my head now.
Overall, I’d say that the Grammy’s sucked. But that’s just because I don’t like award shows in general. ^_^;

I don't mean to come off as a flamer, but...I watched the Pro Bowl instead. I think awards shows are kinda meaningless, I don't need pop culture to tell me who was good and who wasn't. Plus I think most pop and mainstream rap is rubbish, so I wouldn't have watched this show anyway. The Pro Bowl was better entertainment IMHO.

I agree. Award shows are boring and stupid to me too. That's why I was doing more producitve things while everyone else in my family was watching it: surfing the Web, doing my homework, having a snack, etc. =DSpecter wrote:I think awards shows are kinda meaningless, I don't need pop culture to tell me who was good and who wasn't. I watched about 5 minutes of it. Beyonce had the ugliest dress I've ever seen.

Beyonce' pissed me off, first of all, Prince was the big thing there, no her. Second, she was going for this Tina Turner thing and it came off as some pink big burd going into convulsive seizures. However, I did like most everything else, 'cept I have to agree with NameGoesHere the Saun Paul/Sting preformance was crap [IMO].
Nothing sucks like a Jed-kun - The "sloganize" web site.

Beast: What's this all about?
Emma: What do you think? Superpowers, a scintillating wit and the best body money can buy... and I still rate below a corpse. ::storms off in a huff::

I, for once, didn't watch the Grammies. I can't even remember when they came on. ^^ But I was probably working.
