TV = Real Life?

Okay, have you ever had something happen to you in real life and then watch some show where the same thing happens to one of the characters? (I don't mean doing it on purpose, either) I have two stories, one is longer and a VERY eerie story, actually.
First of all, yesterday I had two exams and then Bart and Lisa had a test of some sort on The Simpsons.

But the real story was sometime during early high school (I don't remember exactly when). It was probably 9th grade, and I probably was 14. I was anxiously awaiting the first appearance of Jigglypuff on TV so I could hear it's song in full. I couldn't sleep and I woke up my parents up and asked them to set their alarm for 6:00 so I could see it. I didn't sleep all night, and I ended up going home from school because I was weepy for some reason (not enough sleep, probably) and I got my mom mad at me. But here's the REAL weird thing. A major thing about the episode is that it's lesson is about how people don't function properly if they don't sleep! I think that was really spooky; almost like the TV was trying to teach me a lesson or something.

Nothing happened in real life that happened on TV later. But I did have a dream (loosely) come true when I went to see Pokemon the Movie 2000 in theaters, if that counts. ^^; When I remember what the dream was I'll get back to you.

Wouldn't the third Pokemon movie fit better with the idea of dreams coming true? Unless your dream was about birds, especially giant ones?

Nope, it wasn't about the giant birds. ^^; It was really about Team Rocket falling from a high height, thinking they were going to die, and finally crashing into a river at the bottom of a canyon (they survived, LIKE USUAL, by the way). In the movie, the let go of Lugia while they are still in the sky, and crash into the ocean---a hole in the ice made out by the Pokemon that were there.

And now that you mention it, Pokemon the Movie 3 would make better material for dreams!
