High School Musical /2/?! O.o Does the story really need to go beyond that?!

OH, YAY, I wanted to see how the TS3's plor would go about animated! ^_^ Let's see, let'se see! <3

My thoughts on TS2? Jessie's song... OWNS.

... Poor Ariel! I actually didn't mind the sequal and I LOVED the series... but... really, prequal when the series already is one?! Why?

Yay Little Mermaid is back along with Toy Story,
But someone explain why Peter Pan is back, The first film was lame and kinda peadophilic (if thats a word). A boy who "never grew up" goes in at night stealing children who don't want to grow up as well

I don't know, it's sounds great to me. *shrug* Most Disney movies can seem creepy if you think about them too much. If you look at a children's story with a cynical adult mindset, you can find subtext all over the place.

Well, they should show the actual Twinkletown musical...But we know it's not a fairytale and dreams are meant for sleeping...

Disney seems to have a fetish with sequels lately. (DCOM, I mean. They're starting the sequel trend with DCOMs.)
A lil OT: I'm probably the only one who's bothered by this, but at the end of the Hocus Pocus commercial, I hate how they just HAD to add that it's the same director of High School Musical. C'mon, do they think kids won't want to watch it if they don't mention a super-popular movie? They've been showing that same commercial for years and now they tainted it. ;_;

Maybe if they show Ariel as much younger, and showing her mother!

Saw III opened to huge numbers this past weekend. It earned $33.6 million in its opening weekend, which is more than what Saw II and the original Saw earning in their respective opening weekends.

Saw IV has been announced in production for 2007. And rumor has it that Saw V is also in production for 2008.

An American Tale: Fiveal Goes West was a good sequel though. Although that was back when (most) companies made sequels because they had a good idea for a story and not because they wanted to pay for their fancy cars and summer houses.

Order of the Phoenix is my favorite book in the series, so that sequel is more than okay.

Ugh, Don Bluth sequels are the worst. The originals which Don Bluth created are all great, but the sequels to his movies are almost always reduced to standard cartoon fare.

Saw I, II, & III cost just over $15 mill to make combined. So far, they've earned almost a combined total of $300 million globally at the box office and Saw III just came out last week.

Doesn't take much of a genius to realize they'll milk the franchise as much as possible.

I could've sworn National Treasure did pretty good at the box office. I could be remembering wrong, though, since it got a lot of hype.
