Why, oh why, all the sequels!?

Scary Movie 4 is just plain absurd. So many of these sequels sound SO retarded.

Actually, Bambi's life with his father, while he's still a child. Like Tarzan 2. (Idiots. Those are not part twos, those are still part of the first movie! A part 2 would be a continuation. Disney is getting weirder and weirder.)

...I thought Bambi never really knew his father. In the movie, he sees him in the distance a few times, and that's it. o.O wtf?

Fans of Disney, be sad this day. They are making a sequel to Fox and the Hound. It's supposed to take place while Copper and Tod are still young and there's something about Copper starting to hang out with dogs from Grand Ole Opry(that country singing show on CMT every Saturday night) and forgetting about Tod.

Begin to cry now.

I agree that Disney should stop making sequels like Tarzan & Bambi.

They're making a sequal to one of those movies I watched alot when I was 5-7 years old? The Fox and The Hound, doesn't need this treatment.

Well I guess we can look on the bright side and be thankful that the movie at least takes place when they're still young, instead of having some crap fest where they're both adults and their kids are wangsting about some problem that the audience doesn't give a damn about (The Little Mermaid part 2, Peter Pan part 2, The Lion King part 2, The Land Before Time part 579235969*)

*yeah I know LBT isn't Disney, but you get the idea.

I just pretend that Disney sequels/prequels are out-of-continuity or fan-made stories, and ignore them like I do other such fanfiction (no offense to fanfiction writers, I just tend to stay away from most of it out of personal habit).

Except Toy Story 2. I thought it was a worthy successor to the line.

*Nods* Toy Story 2 was actually a surprise to me. It wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. It was just as creative as the first, IMO.

HAH. that's a hilarious way of thinking. I hadn't thought of that.

Peter Pan 2 was adorable in my opinion. ^^; It didn't feel like a MOVIE, more like a cartoon episode, but meh... it was cute. xD;;;

But yeah, Disney just plain sucks now 'cause they're too uncreative to think of new characters/stories so they just mess up old ones most of which were were originally fairy tales and not theirs anyway.

It's especially frustating because they made Lilo and Stich so they are capable of doing something new and creative.

But ya know, Toy Story 2 doesn't really count as a Disney sequel, because they were made by the folks of Pixar, Disney just distributes it. (That must be why it's good, because it wasn't really Disney :P )

Actually, the best Disney sequel IMO was Rescuers Down Under. All those flight scenes just took my breath away.

Did anyone else hear that Dumbo 2 was in production, but it was scrapped....(for now, probably!) Ugh...can you imagine what they would do? Give cute Dumbo an annoying whiny voice and have some stupid problem.

I'm not sure about this one, but I heard they were planning for Snow White 2, but there was a petition to stop it. Good riddance. The last thing we need is a dumb sequel to shame the very first film (but then again, they didn't have a problem with shaming Walt's very last film). Ok I'm done ranting...for now.

Rescuers Down Under WAS a good sequel, I will admit that.

-_- Dumbo 2...Oy. I'm so glad they scrapped it. I can't picture an angsty teenage dumbo.

Those Disney sequel just keep on coming eh? Doesn't really bother me that much since most of the sequels are for movies I don't like. As long as Disney doesn't make a Sleeping Beauty 2, I'm fine.
