Well, one movie I would like to erase from memory is The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. I liked the storyline, but it sounds like the movie ruined it when they tried to bring the comic to life. (Or so I've heard) They could have done better, with the effects, the script, Mr. Hyde...But really, I would have liked this movie a lot better if I could erase one character...Tom Sawyer. He is THE most annoying character of ALL TIME, in my opinion. Everything he did, the way he seemed to be this annoying little dude who wanted to suck up to the Quatermain (sp?) and tried going after Mina, who was waaaaay out of his league. It's just one of those people who make me go "URGH! *foams at mouth/twitch*", you know?
Mr. James : Lost a satellite on liftoff today.
Dave : Cost?
Mr. James : 10 million dollars.
Dave : Result?
Mr. James : Extreme set back.
Dave : Milk?
Mr. James : Spilled.
Dave : Gonna cry about it?
Mr. James : Not even.
Dave : I''m sitting on a rather sharp tack.
Mr. James : That's gotta hurt.
Dave : Well, life's a bitch...
Mr. James : ...And then you die.
Dave : My...
Mr. James : ...oh...
Dave : ...my.

okay...

ALL DISNEY SEQUELS. geez... do you REALLY need to make more of them? and Cody Banks 2??? WTFH???

same thing for the Mask 2. if no Jim Carrey, not seeing it. the mask has a good ending, and there should not be a sequel.

and now...

Rocket Power should not have been created. please... a show about kids who are obsessed with, SPORTS! please, make the torcher end...
I agree with everything; don't know what armwrestling's about, though.
Mine would be...the REDICULOUS lines of the team rocket motto, all little kid disney movies, predator, the rock(the movie), and that's about it.

I'm actually surprised. I mentioned Barney and no one has said a word about that show. *shrugs*

The show that i'd love to erase is probably most reality tv shows. there's only so much drama that I can handle and now they are coming out with more and more outrageous things. I'll never understand the entertainment industry.
ah yes. on the note of barney.
I HATE THAT BIG GAY FREAK!!!!
I was born in '90, provided, but GOD!!! I just LOATHE him.

Movies/Episodes of shows that you would erase from memory?

Post by TonyOctober 2.0 » Sat Sep 03, 2005 7:12 pm

Yes I do and it's a long list!

TV Shows:

The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy
Reason: Stupid cliffhangers. They have it in every episode. I also think it's really annoying that Mandy is so mean and cruel, but happens to be a bully without a heart, while Billy is stupid, but happens to be a really nice guy with a heart the size of about half the world, in which case it just makes you not like either of them. One more complaint: Grim is way too stupid to be a reaper.

The Proud Family
Reason: It's not so bad. It just has characters that aren't very kind to Oscar, that's all.

Roseanne
Reason: It's a good show not! The characters are mean to each other and alota bad language.

Ed, Edd, and Eddy
Reason: The Eds are abused and always get it at the end. No plot and unlikeable characters.

TV Episodes:

All That : Season +7 Episodes
Atomic Betty: Planet Stinxx
The Cosby Show: Off To See The Wretched
Danny Phantom: Fright Night
Ryufire's Review: http://www.tv.com/danny-phantom/show/89 ... 670&page=2
Dexter's Laboratory: Season +3 Episodes and 11/19/1997 Episodes
Drake and Josh: Peruvian Puff Peppers
My Review: http://www.tv.com/peruvian-puff-pepper/ ... ag=&order=
Ed, Edd, and Eddy: If It Smells Like An Ed
The Fairly OddParents: Fool's Day Out and It's A Wishful Life
My Review: http://www.tv.com/the-fairly-oddparents ... =3&order=1
Family Guy: Wasted Talent and Fast Times At Buddy Cianci Jr. High
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends: Squeakerboxx and Beat With A Schtick
Full House: Yours, Mine, And Ours and Sisters In Crime
Kim Possible: Royal Pain and All The News
¡Mucha Lucha!: The Anger Of Cindy Slam
The Powerpuff Girls: Nano Of The North
The Proud Famliy: Ain't Nothing Like The Real Thingy, Baby and Smackmania 6: Mongo vs. Mama's Boy
Rocko's Modern Life: Closet Clown
Totally Spies: Shrinking and W.O.W.
Xiaolin Showdown: Tangled Web
Zoey 101: The Play

Movies:

Problem Child
Reason: No Plot and Unlikeable Characters.

The Rabbit Poof Fence
Reason: Bland and Boring.

So here's my list of Movies/Episodes of shows that you would erase from memory?

So how do you like it! :o

TV:
Any new cartoons from NICK God help me... I'm sorry to those that like it... but sponge bob square pants is about the STUPIDEST cartoon in the entire freakin' world. give me classic nick cartoons. like Rocko, and shows like are you afraid of the dark, and classic All that BEFORE Amanda Bynes came on.

Most reality shows. I can get into a few like Rockstar INXS a few episodes of survivor here and there... and any real world New Orleans and before. and road Rules Northern trail and before. the voted out crap on road rules now is stupid. and the inferno and gauntlet crap they've got.... spare me.

Movies:

I MUST comment on some things that were said earlier. I know MANY MANY MANY people didn't like Star Wars Phantom menace because of jar jar binks. But I thought the acting by Liam Nissen and Ewan McGregor was great. They had some weird moments in there... but over all okay movie. I LOVED attack of the cloans. (might just be that I love Natalie Portman, and think she's the supreme Goddess, but that's just me. lol) and the fact that there was even less jar jar in it... and I loved 3 because there was NO jar jar... oh wait... I was told he had one menial line... I think it was "welcome back Ani" but that's it.

Okay back on topic here. Queen of the Damned TOTALLY agreeing with everyone else. BS complete BS. On that one quote Tiff posted... I think Anne Rice should shoot down anyone affiliated with that movie!

I know I"m comitting sacralidge by saying this... BUT Pulp Fiction. I regret EVER watching that movie with Joe. I thought it was stupid and pointless and I think Quentin Tarrantino ( i think that's spelled wrong) is a sick MF and needs to be shot. but that's just me. (joe's reading this over my shoulder and looking like he wants to cry from me writing this now....)

Three kings. something about that movie just rubbed me the wrong way... dunno why... I just didn't like it...

any war movie with so much gore people are throwing up in the aisle ways in the theater. like Saving Private Ryan. Went to see it in the theater... my boyfriend at the time wanted to watch it.... we ended up leaving the theater 'cause i ran out to the bathroom to throw up. I coudlnt' take all the blood and guts.

I think that's it really.....
Plug for my message board Im awful. ::Hangs head in shame::

Left here alone, and unsure of what I feel. Unclear, but I see, Just what I'm afraid of.
I can't find my way anymore. And I cannot heal the wounds I've created. I can't let let go of whats killing me
Falling from this edge, I am lost to all I know
I can't breathe anymore Somehow I'm locked inside this cage And I've tried, but I cant Fight to stay alive
Falling from this edge, I am lost to all I know Time is only Fantasy And lies, the only reverie.
I've tried But I can't fight anymore.
I've Fallen from this edge, I am lost to all I know Time is only Fantasy And lies, the only reverie.

The Rabbit Poof Fence
Reason: Bland and Boring.
Um? I quite enjoyed Rabbit Proof Fence. The film, for those that don't know, is an Australian film about three half-Indigenous girls who are taken from their homes (as part of what has become known as "The Stolen Generation"--and our current PM, John Howard, still has not apologized) and raised in some kind of shelter, with the hope that they will further breed with white folk and thus further reduce black skin (although, IIRC, the gene for pigmentation is actually dominant). They escape, and follow a couple of rabbit-proof fences back home.

Now for my own personal one:

Punky Brewster: Just Say No

Punky (Soleil Moon Frye) and Cherie (Cherie Johnston) get asked to join the ruling clique of the school. As this is a Very Special Episode, and Allen (Casey Ellison) and Margaux (Ami Foster) are just guest cast while Cherie is a regular, they decide to go for it, drink a disgusting concoction, and take a pact...only to find that the girls (who use Val-speak. Wrong time zone, girls) use drugs. Punky seeks advice from her teacher, Mike Fulton (TK Carter), and manages to win the three non-leading girls over via just saying no (and, in effect, calling head Windy City Valley Girl Emily a turkey). The Valspeak is horridly out of place (and badly done). The plot is clichéd. The coke is called "nose candy". The concept is pure propoganda. But then, to add insult to injury, the episode ends on footage of a campaign parade led by Soleil Moon Frye (passing mention is made of the fact that Cherie led a different parade in Oakland). Sometimes she's in her Punky outfit, sometimes she's wearing a Just Say No shirt. Sad to say, Punky Power was absent here.
"That new girl? She seems kinda weird to me. And what kind of name is Buffy anyway?"
"Hey, Aphrodisia!"
--unaired Buffy pilot

If you're reading this, then you've lost the game.

Some movies I saw on the Sci-Fi channel. Titles simply named "Spiders" or "Mosquito". And another one I believe was called "Predator 2"......uggggggh...... :x Very twisted. But what annoyed me even more was that they could show all that gory stuff on TV, but God forbid they say the word 'shit' in the same movie. -_____-U
The Facts of the Animal Kingdom:
"Zebras can bite."
"Snakes say sss."
"Lions chase people."
And of course…”Tigers bite you.”

And one from me...Leopards are gorgeous.

The whole dub Legend Of Thunder 'trilogy.' -shudders violently- I knew it was bad, oh-so bad, but... I watched anyway. x.x
WHY, 4Kids, WHY?!
...
'Gee-tee-gee, sweetie-pie!' ... DIE, dub Marina. DIE. ... Hearing in chatspeak being spoken in real-life makes my soul curl up and DIE. ;-; And my poor poor cold and serious Bashou (with a very obvious male voice... -snapgrowl-) gets turned into this... very female-voiced... THING. Who doesn't even know his own Pokemon's attacks! x.x It's CRUNCH, not Bite. ... And then he goes and gets the attack name right. What the heck?
Oh, inconsistency! Why is Eusine Eugine now?
... -dead-
'It's like three people squeezing at once on a giant zit!'

... ... ... Alright, weeping over Bashou's partner Buson now too.
What the HECK, Attila?! And enough with the 'rodeo' and 'wrangler' lines that came out of nowhere, yet is somehow a huge chunk of your dub personality. x.x

... That and his grammar sucks. :P
'Any more major power bolts like those it'll make the crystal totally unbeatable.'
... Eh?
'Your friend shouldn't be making fun of Caterpie. I used to collect them, and they're very sweet characters.'
Buson would NEVER say the things Atilla does. That's just /pathetic./ Except for maybe the suicide mission line, that was... somewhat in-character. And oooh, first time I heard the word suicide in the dub. -snort- ... Doesn't make up for the other junk though. 'The Hun Shockwave.' -shudder- Die-die-die-die...

>>>Lucario learns a move called "Tonbogaeri". This is a move in Judo feauturing a kick to the groin. Yes, they''ve actually made "Kick Him in the Nuts" an attack. It should SO do 150% more damage to male Pokemon. XD
