Movies/episodes of shows that you would erase from memory?

Anything and everything (outside of the stuff on the above forums) can be discussed here.

The Transformers episode "Carnage In C-Minor". I don't think anyone would dispute erasing that travesty from existence. Transformers wasn't exactly the pinnacle of fine animation to begin with, but an episode full of THAT MANY animation errors had to either be on purpose or animated by people who had been beaten with a 2x4.

Just for examples, Hot Spot standing next to Defensor(Hot Spot formed Defensor's torso), about 3 Long Hauls, Devastator the size of a normal bot, characters drawn on the wrong side of the battlefield, and I think a few who had died in the movie even showed up,

Even if the animation had been on par, the plot was still pretty lame.

While looking at some Stephen King books today, I came up with another goddawful movie I'd like to get out of my mind. "DREAMCATCHER" is the title of it. A very poor adaptation of the book, and extremely boring. I got tired after..well, I don't know how long it took me to get tired, but I got extremely bored and slept uncomfortably through the rest of the movie. I liked reading the book, but the movie..ugh..I found The Cat In The Hat movie, although publicly hated, and quite annoying, to be much more quality than the Dreamcatcher adaptation..These days, you can't make a good adaptation of a book without sending the script to hell and back..*sigh* Let's hope '04 will be much different..

I'd like to erase the Resident Evil movie from my mind, because it was so gory it made me physically ill.

I'd also like to erase the commercials for My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance from my mind too. Why does anyone watch that stuff, and especially that one? Ugh!

o_O; What the hell is that? Is it a play off of "My Big Fat Greek Wedding?" The radio station to which I listen was giving away "big fat obnoxious" prizes..I guess that's where they got it.

From what I can gather, it's a reality TV series where this woman is trying to convince her family to let her go through with marrying an incredibly obnoxious, unattractive man. It's demeaning to everyone involved, and yet the ads say it's a hit.

It's a new reality show on Fox. A girl is supposed to convince her parents that she's gonna marry some really gross slob or something to that effect. And if she does convince them, she wins money. I saw the commercial and the premise looks so stupid. I think most of these reality shows suck ~_~

I cringe every time they show commericals for "My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiance." Please Fox, no more shots of him without a shirt! :x

That may not necessarily true. They come up with those numbers on their own, it's not really how many people watch it. After all, how could they tell? The TV doesn't send a record back to the cable company.

Couldn't say it any better, Tiff-san. They say if you stop watching or looking at something, that show will eventually go away.

Everytime I see that commerical for that show I want to shoot myself. >.< -_-;;;

And people still blindly watching them isn't the only reason they're still on. Since 90% or so of reality shows don't feature celebrities, they're really cheap to make. Networks would rather take the cheap way to get decent ratings than put the money up to make quality shows that would do much better.

Amen. How people can stand to watch Reality TV shows is beyond me... espically the really horrid ones. aka... Fat Fiance, Simple Life, etc... I mean honestly, Maybe funny the first time, but later, not funny at ALL.

Why can't people just make QUALITY TV shows? Like South Park. It is pure comedy. "OMG! They killed Kenny! You bastards!"

I don't understand how people can stand those now, and Survivor All-stars? Survivor is just luck and how much you can stomach the tasks and food. Honestly, if forced to, I'd eat only rice. otherwise, I wouldn't even get on a show like that.

Now keep in mind that there ARE people who like to watch them, wehther it be becuase they're really into it, or like making fun of it, or like the controversy that goes on in some, or just like entertainment. My mother has gotten into reality shows, but not in an obsessive way..she enjoys the controversy more than anything. And while I don't watch reality shows normally, when I was in TN, I got a bit caught up in Real World/Road Rules competition, and Average Joe. *shrug*

Wow, I loved this movie. It was so beautifully acted, directed, and filmed. Different tastes, I guess.

I have to say I hated the live action Flintstones movies. Awful stuff. I loved the cartoons, so it was sad to see it ruined.

The prequels to the Star Wars movies; The Santa Claus 2; Magic Knight Rayearth Season One (I loved the manga, but hated the anime, though I've only seen the first season); the ending to Digimon 02; the newer seasons of The Rugrats' with Kimi; Maury (that talk show who's name I'm not sure how to spell); CyberChase; and that awful ending to the early '90s Spider-man cartoon. That ending was so corny that it's no wonder hardly any American cartoons these days ever see their series finale. Oh yes, and I forgot about the newer episodes of Jackie Chan Adventures.

Yes, the Star Wars prequels are horrid. the only good thing about them is: Yoda the bouncy ball! and... The Jedi Starfighter!
Everything else is horrid. I hope the first scene in Episode 3 is Jar Jar getting shocked to death by Palpatine.

Teletubbies should also be destroyed. it is horrid!

Of course, South Park, IMO, has gotten a bit stale.

Reality TV may have run its course.
