I got her album over holiday break and I LOVE it! She's kinda pop, but with a rough rock edge. She acctually, at least parcially, writes her own lyrics. In my oppinion this Canadian import is one of the best new artists of the year! Her music is versatile, beautiful, and just plain fun. I love FeFe! I saw her video on MTV and I was instantly hooked. "Take Me Away" is a great song, I'm looking forward to buying her album. It's nice to see a black girl not forced into the hiphop genre. What I mean is, she's more of a Michelle Branch than a Beyonce, which is a good thing to me.

I also like "Take Me Away". She looks really pised off in the video though. XD

And yes it's nice that FeFe's not in the hip hop genre. I love hip hop and all but I also like diversity. Not all black artists HAVE to be hip hop artists.

On January 5th she's supposed to have a new video come out on Mtv's TRL called "Everything". It's kind of a slow song, but it's still really good (however, not one of my favorites).
