Import Shops

Post by ParaKiss_Groupie » Tue Dec 23, 2003 1:34 am

Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone knew any good Import Shops online. I'm currently looking for some CDs by this group called Smile.dk. They're swedish, but their CDs are releases mainly in Japan. You may have heard their songs on DDR (Butterfly, Boys, Mr. Wonderful). And I'd really like to find their CDs for under $50. Amazon.com has one of them, but it's really expensive. I'd appreciate any help I could get. Thanks in advance!

One of the best websites out there for Japanese music CD's, DVD's, etc., is http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/. I've read a lot about it (I've never used it myself), and it seems to be very good.

I did a quick search for smile.dk, and found three hits. One was a soundtrack for DDR 5th Mix (they have one song on it), but the other two were from this group. Both of them, "SMILE .dk Butterfly" (from 1998) and "Golden Sky' (from Dec. 2002) are listed at $US 22.69. (Note: the three songs you listed all appear to be on the first CD)

They've also got shipping information and all that stuff, and the rates seem pretty reasonable ... http://www.cdjapan.co.jp/member/shipping.html has all the information about that.

EEK! *super glomps* Thank you! I searched everywhere and couldn't find SMile.dk Butterfly, which is the main one I wanted. Thanks again!

I think this was asked by someone before, but I can't remember where, so I might as well do so now ... what exactly is a "glomp"?

I'm glad I could help ... it's actually a really good site even if you're just trying to find information about a certain artist or song. That's what I use it for mostly.

To be honest, I'd never looked at the shipping rates until I did my last post ... I was actually pretty surprised by how cheap they were. I don't know a lot about international shipping rates, but these ones seemed to be pretty good.

A glomp is like an anime tackle-hug. Usagi does it to Mamoru, Shampoo does it to Ranma, etc...You just throw your body against someone else and hug them tightly, nearly knocking them down. LOL

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

Smile.dk is Swedish!? I never thought of that! The way they sing some of the songs made me think they were Japanese. I love "Butterfly"!
