New Year's resolutions...?
Moderators: SMU Staff, SMU Chibi-Mods
::blinkblink:: I really don't remember what last year's resolutions were... I think I wanted to lose 20lbs. I've gone from 155 to 143 already. I could stand to lose a couple more, actually, but because I have a large build, I'm not intent on being skinny anymore. I can run a mile in 9 minutes and being that fit makes me happy. ^^
anyways, yeah.
-get better at the guitar
-actually DO my homework
-keep the room clean
-write more
-procrastinate less
-moderate more
-drink less Diet Coke (not happening)

No! You must not stop glomping! Glomping is sooo much fun! Though, if you're talking about glomping friends IRL, maybe you should stop. I don't know what it's like to be glomped IRL, as I've never had that happen to be me before, but I imagine it must be painful. ^^;; I don't think I made any resolutions last year. If I did I can't remember any of them, so here's this New Year's Resolutions:Celexa wrote:1) Not be so lazy about sitework
4) Stop glomping my friends
1)Try not to put my foot into my mouth(I have a bad habit of saying things I don't really mean or what I'm thinking comes out the wrong way, so I end up hurting people's feelings)
2)Try to be more responible
3)Try to loose weight (Yeah, yeah. I know it's a cliched resolution, so sue me)
4)This is a new one I added to my list last night. I'm going to try to find at least one thing that I can do right. I'm not very talented and I often make mistakes, so when things go wrong I blame myself for it. So, I'm going to try to find at least one talent I have that makes me feel special. It's going to be a tough resolution to keep, but with a little bit of luck and alot of determination, I'm sure I can make it.

My Resolutions
1. Continue pissing off Neko-san on her Anti-Relena page
2. Whip myself back into shape
3. Don't spend too much money
4. College!
5. Try to reduce my stinginess (can't help, it's in my blood)

"After all these years, you know it's not about control. It's about trying to do everything I can. And for you, it's about setting an example. Everyone looks up to you. They listen to you. If you tell them to fight, they'll fight. But they need to be inspired, and let's face it, 'Superman'...the last time you really inspired anyone... was when you were dead." -- Batman, to Superman, Infinite Crisis, issue 1
1) Drop to an acceptable weight.
2) Expand my mind
3) Get out more and befriend more people.
4) Complete all of my half finished books.
5) Be more expressionate with my negative feelings.
6) Whine less
7) Become more random and crazy.

And really, why shouldn't we be afraid? In case you haven't heard, life is terminal. Cigarettes will kill you. So will your cellphone. Your car is a deadly weapon and alcohol is a quiet killer. Don't lick the lead-based paint on the walls. Don't lick the back of a postage stamp and certainly don't lick any strangers! That will bring you down quickly indeed. Don't drink the water but don't drink less than eight glasses a day. Your enviroment is toxic, your natural resources are dwindling, your days are numbered, but what ever you do, don't panic! The stress, don't you know, will kill you.

Ah, I might add a resolution by the way:
- Spend more time on my math and economics homework. I'm a loser o.O;;;

Since the world is going to end in 2012 (those shows they keep replaying on History channel say so), I have new resolutions for this, the third year before the apocalypse! :D
- Don't die.
- Continue my workout routine.
- Learn at least three really cool new skills.
- Take up jujitsu on a regular basis.
- Par, and then possibly Tay. Perhaps as if it were 1999.

I dont really bother with this but it would be nice if I can keep up with the fantasy novel im trying to write.

My new years resolutions, I chose to do something a little different (maybe you guys have already heard of it). I posted it in my LJ, so you can see it here.

There Shall Come One After Me
And From Death’s Icy Grip
She Shall Bring Light Upon The World Once More
And Placed Upon A Crystal Throne
Her Light Shall Shine Forever More
-Rise of Crystal Tokyo 1st Prophecy
“Oh, yes, I can just see it now. I’ll tell the others how I tried to talk you out of this like a reasonable, responsible friend, and you threw a Deep Submerge at me.”
-Rei to Michiru, Long Way Down by RadiantBeam
"I rather laugh with the Sinners than cry with the Saints, the Sinners are much more fun."
-Bill Joel, Only The Good Die Young
Words of Advice:
1. Always remember you are normal, it everyone else that "weird".
2. Remember Ferengi Rules of Acquisition #76: Every once in a while, declare peace. It confuses the hell out of your enemies.
3. Jack may be nimble and Jack may be quick, but he still burned his a** on the candlestick.

My Resolutions? I have a few, so far I'm doing very good with sticking to them.
-Eat better. I started a pretty restricted diet officially on the first in an attempt to combat my Crohn's. Seems to be doing the trick, I have alot more energy and I feel way better than I was feeling. =)
-Excesize. While not as much as I planned I am still making progress in this resolution given my current schedule with work, school and whatever.
-Stop procrastinating! I'm doing much better in this area and not putting things off or trying to over prioritze my lists of stuff to get done. My grades seem to be reaping the benefits =D
-Stop missing school! Since moving out of my mom's (well, I'm lying... since I moved to Texas...) I've had attendance issues... The real world doesn't let you just miss work cus you don't feel like going and I'm going to be in college in a year so I figured I needed to break this bad habit. So far so good. the only day I plan pon missing is the 10th of February for moving day...
-Appreciate my loved ones. Harder than it sounds at times but having recently lost my aunt who I ended up not seeing for 3 years and then one day we get a call that she died really shook me up so now I feel that I should take that experience as a life lesson and be grateful for my family and loved ones.
