New Year's resolutions...?

Seeing as the New Year is coming soon, do any of you have some resolutions in mind for the New Year? And what about your resolutions from last year? Did you accomplish them yet, or did you completely blow them off? (we won't judge ^_~)

I always make a really easy New Year's resolution, and that is to live long enough to see the next New Year. That way, as long as I don't die, my resolution is always fulfilled.

So, how about you? And tell the truth, none of that "I just resolve to love my family" stuff unless you actually do that. ^_^

My resolutions for last year were blown off completely. Duh ^^;;

This year ? Hmm...

1) Lose the damn weight I have planned to lose for years o.O;;

2) Stop biting my nails

3) Fix my Spanish and speak it better

4) Try to get my driving license o.O;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

5) Get my degree and work for it!!

6) Do my best to get engaged with my sweetie (there's a reason why I'm attached to doing that, I'm not pressing him don't worry

)

My New Year's resolution is to get a job, of which I failed to do this year ;_;

Last Year's New Year's resolution was to be happy adn see the good side of thing's come what may and danm it I've done it ( just a few hicup's along the way)

Next year's lot are:

No nail biting
Lose Weight so I'm happy
Chat more to people/ be more slef confedent
Speeling and grammer

My Resolutions:

1.) Do better in my sophomore year of college, especially in Math.
2.) Get a job.
3.) Procrastinate less.
4.) Argue less with people.
5.) Finish CardCaptor Sakura already (3 years now, and I only have the first 39 episodes and 1st movie).
6.) Finish SuperS, start S, and buy the first two season boxsets.
7.) Lose some weight.
8.) Go back to the gym.
9.) Become more socially active in school.

To live well, and be happy. That's it. I don't like to decide what i'm going to be doing for an entire year.

4) Get down to 100lbs.
5) Read more.
6) Spend more time with family.

And how tall are you, Eva? You're a girl right? I don't think it's healthy to be 100 lbs if you stopped growing, and you're more than 4'10"....

Anyway mine is to share more things with my friends in conversations, rather than being the listener so often. I have a habit of keeping too many thngs to myself at once. Then letting it all out later at once...

I'm 20 years old and 5'0". And now, I weigh 110 anyways, so it's not a big deal to go down 10 lbs. I know if I eat healthier, work out more often, and sleep more, I can do it. My friend is the crazy one. She wants to go down to 96 lbs.

1) Not be so lazy about sitework
2) Loose a little weight. (125 or so down to 115-120 or so)
3) Not eat so much candy

I'm not even going to go there about how much I weight. It's not easy being a plump teddy bear type. Lose more weight is always a goal...but I'm also pretty ok with myself a lot of the time too.

My resolutions last year....didn't make any. I really wasn't in the mood to make goals I can't keep.

This year however, I do have a goal that I want to accomplish!

My goal is to finish my very first novel by the end of January. and to get it published by or before June 2004. If not, by the end of the year at the very latest. But the goal is to start the second book by then.

Yes folks, I have decided I want to be an author. Now the hard part is actually keeping that goal. I really want to be my own boss and do something I love which is telling stories. I had posted my idea for a book on another thread, in the Sailor Moon section under Otaku Senshi, but no one had said anything further on that thread so I figured it probably didn't go over very well.

Anyway, that's my goal for 2004. Wish me luck.

This is the last I'm going to say on the subject, becuase I don't want this to stray off topic: Your friend is crazy becuase she wants to go FOUR lbs lighter than you? 100 lbs is a crazy weight to be at age 20 and being 5 ft. You're fine the way you are, sweety. Don't over-do it. That's close to downright an anorexic weight, IMO. But then again, nobody can work with your body but you, I just hope it stays at a healthy and safe weight.

I think my resolutions would be to be more relaxed and not let stress get to me, and hopefully get a girlfriend who I can spend time wth and trust and all. Hell, that alone would be a big aid into releiving stress and all. Anything else I can think of wouldn't be a resoultion, since I can only think of projects I want to finish.
