This is going to be the worst Christmas ever.

Geez, did you ever stop to think about other people for a moment? I mean, because your sister drank, maybe some guy selling alcohol to minors can give his children a better Christmas. Isn't giving what Christmas is all about? Maybe your sister should be drinking a lot more.

I think you need to figure out the difference between "Drinking" and "Getting Drunk" Theres a big difference IMO. So, your sister drank 2 thingings and a shot of another thing. Now, that, for me, would go under the "Drinking" catagory, now if she had as many as she could and barfed in her car, then thats "Getting Drunk". If your sister is just "Drinking", it is a minor sign of help, and bashing your sister at the beggining was harsh, and now your...protecting her? She needs support, not for you to lose trust in her. Your parents sound like they need help with this, and are taking it in a wrong direction. Punishing her severely may lead to the "Getting Drunk" stage, and make everything worse. Please, take everyones advice into consideration, and not "poo poo" it.

That was 6 years ago. my parents are nuts at times. they get mad over the STUPIDEST things. Katy's physics class is probebly the hardest class in the school she goes to, so a C+ is a GOOD grade. she got that on a test and my parents basicly SCREAMED. she had gotten a sub sandwhich from subway, and this is my dad. "We made our own lunches, and you spent our money on that little subway sandwhich right there!"

I mean... it's HER money. if SHE wants subway, she can have it. you DON'T NEED TO MAKE A BIG DEAL ABOUT IT!!!
...Wtf. "NRRR PARENTS MAD NRRR SUBWAY MONEY NRRR." That's completely off-topic. Look, I tried to help out, but you don't seem to even get the simplest of things here. It's your sister's problem if she got punished or not, not yours. Shit happens. Welcome to the real world.
Maybe he just cares about his sister. I would care if my brother received punishment for stupid things like that. And he wasn't even responding to you, so please try to show a little more respect and courtesy next time you post.
Er...Gomen Nasai. I apologize ^^;; I wasn't in a good mood. You're right, I shouldn't have been so rude. That wasn't the way I meant to put it. I'll try to edit my post.

I'm not saying that I agree with what she did, but just 'cause something is illegal dosn't mean that it's necisarily wrong. She only had a couple drinks. MANY other countries let children drink at like 16 and 18 or younger. She didn't get plastered and kill somebody or sleep with half the football team and considering what has been going on nowaday's she's acctually behaved herself pretty well. You can't really make to many "rules" that apply across the board because people are so varried and unique, maybe she can handle her liquer, and it was only like 3 drinks.

Alcohol helps people loosen up and with the way your parents sound I'm sure she needed it. Also, drinking may make you more popular. It's not all bad.

I'm in agreement with Jed-Kun and Monkey...what happened with your sister only got out of hand becuase your parents MADE it something out of hand.

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

My mom has been yelling back and forth at everyone for the last couple of years, and now me and my little brother are petrified to go near her the second she gets angry. She doesn't hit anyone, but words speak louder than actions, you know, and being called a failure at things such as gift wrapping (which I do, oh, ONCE A YEAR. Of course I'm going to suck), or not getting out all the stuff for dinner, is not helping. And then she blames all of us for her not getting enough sleep..

And her mood is at its worst during the holidays, ESPECIALLY Christmas.

2003 has been Hell in my household. I hope for better things next year.

Guys, I know there are some things you want to get out, but this thread is not meant for discussion of how rotten some parents are. Please stick to the topic if you're going to post in this thread.

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.
