Magic and Psychic powers

While it is my duty to chide Parakiss (calm yourself next time you feel the need to rage, PKG) just a bit on the methods of his posting, I must at the same time agree with him. I don't believe a word of what you're saying, Darksenshi, not becuase I don't believe in powers or the paranormal, but becuase you seem to be able to do every form of magic or ESP around, and your powers keep changing, as PKG stated. It's just a wee bit ridiculous.

Really now, I find that comment about the persecuted witches to be COMPLETELY out of hand. These people were innocent, good little Puritan folk who never wore BUTTONS much less put hexes on people. Black magic runs in your family? Right... just like "general evil" runs in mine.

Your right, they didn't all just "here something" and go nuts. IN FACT, there have been whole articles written on just that. However, these "witches" wern't evil. 1)They found halusanaginic(sp???sorry) fungi in the the areas where these things happend and in the digestive tracts of the people who lived there. ok, you guys need to calm down. I dont give a fuckin shit if you dont believe me, doesn't mean taht you need to take time to completly insult me. We're on the forums to have fun, not start fights. Jeff and PK, i suggest taht we compltley ignore eachother so this doesn't repeat itself. Now then after we got all of that out of the way, can we just start over? Ok, so then, i ment i get premintions all the time, in dreams, and when I'm awake. And yes Jeff, alot of my grandparents did study witchcraft. OK? NOW CAN WE PLEASE JUST CALM DOWN...

Just because your grandparents studied Witchcraft does not mean that Black Magic is in your blood. All it means is that your grandparents studied Witchcraft. That's like saying that my grandmother worked in a tire factory, so tire-making is in my blood. It makes no sense. And trust me, I didn't completely insult you. If I had completely insulted you, I would have used lots more profanity, made many disparaging and blatant remarks, and would have been much meaner. I regret posting while I was that emotional, and I will apologize for the mean comments I made. However, my main point still stands. You can't believe someone who changes their story with each post, and contradicts him/herself at every turn.

First off, the only person who should be telling anyone to calm down is an admin or a chibi-mod. That has already been taken care of. Second of all, don't preach to people about calming down and then fly off the handle yourself. It only makes you look like a hypocrite. You used far more profanity than any of the people who talked to you. They are allowed to disagree, and that does not equate starting fights. If you cannot handle people disagreeing with you, then leave. Simple as that. I'm not saying you have to leave, but this is a place where people have the freedom to disagree without fear of being yelled at.
Nobody will be ignoring anybody unless they choose to. If, in the future, PK and Jeff want to respond to something you say, they have every right to, just as you have every right to respond to and disagree with them.

I love the show Charmed! IT's a great show... parakiss does have a point when they said (not sure of gender..) that you should watch it for more than ten minutes though. But it's only demons that make fire like... poof... haha. (andPhoebe when she's evil... haha)
I"ve been into Charmed because of the magic, and psyic aspect of the show... it's greatand is a great example of what kind or powers I believe in.

I ahve a qustion does anyone think that "gifts" can be past down form genertaion to generation and can it be pasted to one gender ect?

reason I'm asking is becuase the women of my family seem to be able to pick thing's up and tell fourtunes ect were's the men just seem not to (I think at any rate)

Short answer: Yes
However, this is pretty rare, most people arn't hereditarily "gifted". But, since psychic stuff has to do with the mind and your mind is made up (at least in part) because of your genes you can get "Gifts" from your parents.

Actually, I dont think that... ,my parents don't have psychic powers, but i have some. I can feel people's emotions, and at waking moments I have preminitions where I see the future for about 5 seconds, and I get a chill. The preminitions go by so quickly, I can hardly see whats going on... I get a heaqdache after it also...

I didn't mean that it was the ONLY way, hehe, it's just ONE of the way's. Beside's, magical and psychic gifts are kinda hard to explain, as far as there origins go, but I do know that you can resieve psychic gifts from your ancestry. Sorta like being predesposed to cancer 'cause of your ethnicity. Just 'caus you arn't that perticular ethnicity dosn't mean you can't get cancer, and just 'cause you are dosn't mean you will get it.
