Magic and Psychic powers

Do any of you believe about this? I don't mean like Carnival Magicians, I mean real black magic things. Psychic powers in real life aren't liek reading minds, or palms, or naything like taht. Psychic powers are like preminitions of the future, taht come true later on... It's very strange, I have premintions, I was wondering if I was alone...

I believe in the power of divination I also beleive that your mind can move objects if you trained hard enough. Where as Black Magic, I have trouble with it. FireBall! *poof*

I do believe that people can have premonitions. I have them sometimes. It's kind of strange, but depending on the type of dream I have, I can tell if a relationship is going to end or a new one is not far off. If one is going to end, I usually have the dream a few nights before it happens. (at least, when it comes to my relationships)

One time I had a strange three part dream about a guy I was still in love with. (The totally odd part was that in the dream I would look at the clock and it would show me the actual time and when I woke up after each segment, the real clock would say the same thing) In the last part it showed him looking at me and I knew that he had broken up with his g/f. I'd had a couple other dreams that they were somehow going to be separated. I tried to tell him to be careful, but he laughed it off and said dreams are dreams. Ironically, she broke up with him a month later. Seems she still loved her ex.

Very few people ever seem to listen to me when I talk about these things, but I'm not usually wrong when I have a dream like that.

I TOTALLY believe in these things. Both Magic and Psychic ablilitys.
Dreams: My mom and sister have thed same kind of dream ability where they have cryptic nightmares that are hard to translate until later after the event has occured [often it has to do with death]. In fact, the Scottish had a word for those people, it escapes me now, but EVERY family had one or two people with this ability and so they gave it a name.
Reading Minds: I've acctually read someone's mind befor, like there mind was speaking inside mine, but I am VERY close to that person and we share a bond that most don't. I also am constantly saying the same exact things as my friends at the same time :looks at Parakiss:
Magic: I'll just leave it at I believe in it.

I think that so many people don't believe in Psychic ability, yet psychics are often called in to solve large "unsovable" crimes.

Black Magic? Nope. Premonitions and the like? Yes, to an extent. I believe the fact that your dreams can tell you a lot, or that you can have a premonition of something bad or good happening, but I dont' believe you can see EXACTLY what's going to happen in the future. Becuase a situation is the result of MILLIONS of choices, it's impossible to forsee which choice will actually lead to the situation one is predicting, IMO.

I'm not too sure about Black Magic but I do believe in the powers of the mind. Premonitions, telekinesis, and telepathy, etc.

I have had premonitions, both in waking hours and in my dreams. None of them were particularly specific, and when I first started having them they were so cryptic that I couldn't make sense of them. I later learned how to understand the feelings and images, but I'm still no ultra clairvoyant. In other words, I can't tell someone's future, but I can usually see when something good or bad (but mostly the bad) is going to happen.

*nods* Yes, that's what I mean..like, Derek can do that..he usually gets feelings that fortell if something bad is going to happen....and then my brother, he can sometimes have "deja'vu"-esque feelings...like, he'll have a dream or a thought of me and him saying something, and then later, we'll say that exact thing. Taht's actually happened to me a few times before, too.

Tiff pretty much hit it on the head. I've never had a dream that portrayed the exact future. Only signs of something happening. I'd love to be able to predict exactly what's gonna happen, but all I get is a dream where strange things happen and they are related to something specific.

Like when my ex boyfriend a couple years ago dumped me. A couple nights before I had a strange dream where I think I mentioned marriage in passing and he suddenly yelled at me to never mention that to him again and stormed off. His real life excuse over the phone was, "I really don't see us having a future together."

Guess my experiences are just really odd and out there in left field or something.

I definitly believe in psychic ablilites. I experience lots of dejavu, remember dreaming certain situations, and I think I can read people's minds sometimes. I can even feel ghosts if they have a strong enough presence. As for Black Magic... I don't really know yet whether I believe or not, but I do believe in magic.

I belive in premonitionss and stuff like that I get them sometimes when I'm asleep and then the exact same thing'll happne a few days' week's later.

Magic I do bleive in too not balck magic but the nice helping people out type magic

actually, the premintions i get is like the ones in "That's so Raven". When I least expect it, I get a heat flash, and a premintion. I get chills when the preminitions is good, but I get heat flashes whe their BAD... I got one today, and it said that Saddam wasn't captured, but a clone or decoy... the strange this is, I got a chill... Also Black magic runs in my family... and sometimes i do get these strange surges of power... its so weird!

I believe in it, too. I have read minds before, but its only with a few people. It's like I have some sort of psychic connection with them. For instance, one day I was walking with my best friend's boyfriend. She (my friend) walked out of the building, and started moving her lips. However, we were too far away to read her lips. So, he (the boyfriend) started "What did she say?" and I told him. "She said that she was washing dishes yesterday, and she lost the ring you gave her." He looked at me and told me I was nuts. Well, we finally got up to her, and she told him exactly (and I mean verbatim) what I told him.

Another experience I've had involved my great-uncle. He had cancer, and I was staying at my grandmother's one night. Well, I had serious chest aches for a while, and all I could think about was my uncle. I kept asking my grandmother to call over there, but she wouldn't because she was worried about me. Well, I finally passed out from the pain in my chest at around 11 at night. When I woke up the next morning, my grandma told me that my great-uncle had died in the night, at around 11. It was like I felt him die.

The last experience I've had with that kind of stuff is an ability of mine. I can read people's auras. But, I don't see the colours that some people describe. It's like I can focus on a person, and their emotions/thoughts come to my head. I can read just about anyone. It's always been a big talent of mine. I can look at someone and just know things about them.

So, that's all my experience with psychic and magical powers. I do believe in magic, and black magic. But not the type of Black Magic in TV and movies. I believe that you can focus hard enough to create a fireball, but that the fireball exists in the Astral Plane, rather than the physical one. I've done things like that before. When I'm cold, I think of fire around me, and it typically warms me (and those around me) up. So, if that's what Black Magic is, then I believe in it.

In all seriousness, though, I believe, to a certain extent, in premonitions/visions. Dreams and warnings in waking life exist, not only through "psychic" abilities, but in more subtle things, like sensing that someone isn't doing too well, or having an itching feeling that a person's problems are more than what they seem.

As for "magic"; I don't believe in things like the astral plane and fire/ice/lightning/water elementals, etc. I like to attribute certain supernatural phenomena as miracles, but this isn't the place for religious discussion/debate/bashing ^^;;

Yeah, my Block yeasher last year said the same thing. Its weird, like if you have an accident in the snow, or in heat or something you can predict if there will be a weather change!

I think I do believe in Magic. I don't know which one to believe in, though. I just feel some special things happen sometimes and they can make me happy or sad, and they're not that "natural", but I can never say what they are.

I'd love to believe in Magic like in Charmed *don't kill me please I love the series

* BUT it would be actually sad to live in such a world, because the more you get, the more you want, and having such powers would drive me nuts (especially Paige's ... let's orb to Paris! Tokyo! New York! Mexico! Yayyyyyyyyyyyy!! ) , and would be dangerous, too.

But I'll agree with those of you who talked about dreams and said they believe in them. Though I don't believe in mine, cause it's either about my... err... twisted mind, or people being killed (or even myself being killed) and those "killing dreams" have happened for at least three years, and nothing ever happened. Especially to me since I seem so lucky o.O;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

wow... some of you guys would like a story I'm writing! I"m hoping to get published... it's about psychic powers, and stuff like that!

I totally believe in it. I wish i had a power like that. I get these dreams though, nothgin important, about actual glimpses of the future.

LIke I had this dream that Joe and I were sitting in a living room, one I hadn't seen before, and his leg was on this machine that was moving his knee up and down, then a black cat with a blue collar jumped on my lap, I caught a glimpse of the tv that was in front of us, and the movie Liar Liar was on tv.... I had this dream, I swear... a long time ago, liek in january, before I knew I was going to move in with Joe (mybf)

Well just a few days ago< i saw this same exact thing, everythign happened! EXACTLY!!! It was weird, I told Joe I had a deja vu, and he asked me about what, I told him, and he said, didn't you have a dream about that? I freaked, cause then i remembered when i had it!@!! haha

And I swear up and down, that Joe can read my mind. A lot of times, before we moved in together, we'd be apart, he at colelge or seomthing, and I"d think, call me call me call me, I mean really concentrate on it, and a half hour later, he'd call saying he just had to talk to me... and then we'd say nothign really for the hour we talked!! haha. It's like if I think of soemthgin hard enough, he'll think I said it out loud.... even if I didn't.

Same here, I see actual premintions in dreams, and when I'm bored. They always come out EXACTLY as predicted... even if I said "Dont pop your gum at 3:01 ok" They'd say "ok" and they still would. You should try watching more than 10 minutes of it. See, "Charmed" magic is poof, created a fireball. Also, that doesn't have anything at all to do with her post! Precognitive dreams, Black Magic... completely irrelevant to eachother.

Wtf? Most people who chew gum and blow bubbles do it more than once a minute. This doesn't say anything at all! And where is the pun in "I asked why the defy me"? And how are you controlling their mind??? You asked them not to, they did it anyway... If you were controlling their mind, they wouldn't have done it.

3) Everytime you respond, your magic powers change just a little bit. Are you perhaps having trouble keeping your bullshit straight? The form of your premonitions change. The way you get them changes. Please, next time you try to talk about something, put some research into it. Know what you're talking about. You'll find it helps a lot.

Now, to avoid any confusion, I'll say this now. I'm not saying that I have no belief in the paranormal. I listed my experiences in my previous post. And I'm not saying that you don't have any kind of precognitive abilities. But you keep changing them, and it's really hard to have any sort of faith in your claims. I am writing this in rage. I will probably look at it later, regret typing it, and edit it out. Or, I might not. Some things need to be said. And it's better you learn about this now, rather than down the road when you actually will look stupid, and it will matter. So, for now, at least, I'm done.
