You realize that either way you've contradicted yourself thus devalidating your own statement.
And I know that they were tribes, however, most poeple refuse to believe that black people did help in the slave trade OF THER OWN FREE WILL and it's kinda enoying.
Um... That still doesn't make sense in relevancy to your argument. Your just like "oh, black people can go to Africa." "Oh, it was there own people who enslaved them." And then your like "Okay, they were different tribes, but they were still black people and people don't like to think that black people aided in slavery."
It seems like you really don't get that the different tribes were considered different people and that most people know that Africans were enslaving other Africans if they passed the eighth grade.
Yes, I do know that reservation land is technically not US soil, however, it is that crapy "vast wasteland" soil that you mentioned.
That's really not the point. You said that the Native Americans had no country to go to, but you just admitted that reservation land isn't US soil so therefore it is their country and thus they have a place to go to, regardless of whether or not it's infertile (which really isn't really relevant in the modern age where infertile land can easily be transformed into fertile land).
You're comparing one individual to an entire culture.
It's not a culture. A culture is the idiosyncrasies of a certain social group. What you want to be saying is "you're comparing one individual to an entire society." In which case, you would be incorrect considering different tribes are considered different societies, different groups, and different people.
Furthermore, in America there were promises made to the Natives that we wouldn't take all there land and that they could co-exist, instead we pushed them into little reservations. Individuals were NOT made those promises.
When added together, the size of reservation land makes up the size of California. California is at least the size of two medium sized countries, I hope you know. And NEVER, NEVER, EVER did the Americans actually promise the Native peoples that they would co-exist. They might have backed out on their promise not to take "all" their land, but they didn't promise to co-exist.

You seem to have many opinions, but you don't seem to see that all the facts you use to support them actually contradict (BTW, it means: goes against) what you're actually saying. Also, Native American's aren't actually native. It's a proven fact that they actually came to the America's from Africa during the last Ice Age.

I only quoted this section, as the rest is too large to quote.
I just want to say, VERY GOOD POINTS, SailorBoy62. Everything you said I wanted to say, and I agree with you about Jed-kun's lack of facts.

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

Hmm...

I think Jed-Kun was rather confused when he wrote this. Try to be more precise when you write and never, ever answer to a post right after reading it if it needs consistancy. That's how you contradict yourself, and look ridiculous, because other people will think you can't think. I'm not saying you can't, and I found some of your points interesting even though I won't agree on everything I'll read, so good luck for next time.

Now, I don't know what I'm doing in this topic, since I'm not even American. Bwah, and to think Louisiana should have been French... dammit :P

I did post before here, but I think I have to reword my thoughts, after all those new messages. :p

Since SailorBoy62 told us that Africans have been to "America" during Ice Age... then it must mean "America" didn't belong to anyone. In fact, I don't think any land ever really belonged to anyone. People saw it, settled, and called it their own. Does it make it that wrong as long as people can live on it ? I don't think so.

Not that America is perfect anyway, but, let's take an example. I buy some land to build a house. But people owned it before and went to an apartment. So they get the right to discounts and everything cause I BOUGHT the land ? No way! If they got expelled, it's another matter.

But I don't think "the ones who were there before the English ones" (cause Americans are technically English and a bunch of others :p no offense taken huh ^^;; ?) should get reparations here, cause they weren't expelled. Okay, okay, some cultures were lost, people were killed, and that is to blame, but it has happened before and we can't do anything against that, it was years ago. And as someone said... peachvampiress, I think, the land wasn't wasted.

The children of those people still live on that land, and even though it now belongs to other people, look at what it has become. On the whole, it's rather good: people live, work on it. Bwah, if you become picky you can find a few flaws (...looks at Michael Moore staring at her from his films...) but the land is still prosperous (... looks at Grapes of Wrath and runs away screaming...) .

Please tell me you understood that u_u;;;;;;;;;;

Oh, screw it. I can't fight 15 different people at once, I'm starting to confuse myself from spining in circles. I give in.

Okay...

Things like this happened years ago. Because people will think because of something like, 140-150 years ago, they should get things for free, or because they work harder than you because they're a single parent, they should just shut up. If there were "special" privliges because of that, the world would be corrupt. This is the kind of thing the Nazis did with Germans, they got everything, others were sent to concentration camps.

Now, about the Native American issue. They were kicked off their land. THAT shouldn't have happened, there should have been a treaty of some sort for us to live in harmony. The reason most americans supported the Confederacy in the Civil War is because Alexander Hamilton *or Jackson, some president* kicked them off of their land in Georgia. And we kept pushing them east. Now, there are few tribes remaining. If we had treaties for us to live in harmony, these things would be different.
