Go see this movie. Now! The Japanese Culture society at my college got to go see it last night for free and everyone loved it. It's very well done and the movie in general is just beautiful. Just remember to bring some tissues if you do go see it.

I definitely want to watch this movie; I don't care what he did with his personal life, but Cruise is a good actor. He looks like he'll do a good job with this one. Plus, there will be sword fights....ooooh, how I love sword fights :)

Beautiful? Really? The previews revealed no plot at all, unless swords count as a plot. Usually that's a sure sign of another Gladiator. But if koi says it's good I may consider it. Is it excessively gory (I don't mind a little gore, but anything on the level of Saving Private Ryan I'd rather skip)?

I really want to see this..it looks awesome. It seemed to me like there was a plot.

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

The gore isn't like Saving Private Ryan, more like Gladiator. The movie is about an American soldier who goes to Japan to train the soldiers to use guns, but ends up getting captured by the tribe they were fighting and well the previews and title pretty much can lead on to what happens from there. I was close to just bawling at the end.
