o_0 It's not really "edited." The only real difference is that in the fight with the Crazy 88s, where we have the black and white scene that swaps into colour later, the "unedited" is all in colour. At least, that's the only thing I saw on that site.

And really, I like the black and white better.

Also, regarding the boxsets... I am Tarantino's bitch. I bought both DVDs opening day. When the box set comes out, I will buy it. I've seen an alternate cover of the second DVD in a catalog, and if I find it in a store, I'm buying it. I don't think that anything has ever pushed me to that level of fandom. But Kill Bill does. IMO, it's that damn good.

Actually, there were a few seconds cut from the anime scene, when O-ren kills Boss Matsumoto. And I think some of the early Crazy 88 stuff was cut as well. I can't speak for Volume 2. But nothing really of significance.
Things I think Are Funny Early in the Morning: If Batman were a Smurf: "Quick, Robin! We must smurf down to the Batcave and smurf the Batplane! Then we must smurf the batsmurf so we can smurf where the Joker is smurfing!"

The Croonerism Spate (explanations upon request)
Be careful with this one, there is a bit of a pun involved. Dr. Spooner described his visit to a castle: "In the center of the fortress was the Palace Court. The gated entrance to this area was the court palace."

Here's a more specific example of what an ethically CLEAN way to release a DVD is.....Lord of the Rings.
I assume you don't know there's another completely different DVD or boxset coming out in December, with added extra features and footage.

If you're talking about the extended release (like what they had with FotR and TTT) then yes, i was well aware. =)

I found the title of the DVD today. It's called The Kill Chiba Collection and there was a caption that said something like 'before the hitman killed Bill'. The style of the package is similar to that of the Kill Bill Volume 1. I can't find a lot of information on the movie, but Sailorasteroid found this:
http://imdb.com/name/nm0002002/

Hopefully that helps. I can't find a lot of info on this movie, but please believe me, I am seriously not making this up. If you guys find any more info on this, please post it.

EDIT: I was going to bring a camera to take a picture of it, but I forgot it at home ><

It's 3 of Sonny Chiba's movies (i'm assuming). I guess it's a ploy to make some money off of Chiba since he was in Kill Bill.

Well, that makes sense, and I'm glad someone figured it out ^^Now we know that Kill Bill isn't originally a Japanese movie, and we figured out what it was RoastedTwinkies found.

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.
