Gaia Online
Alright, I searched and couldn't find any topics about this wonderful websites so...
What do you all think of www.gaiaonline.com? I think it is wonderful and I have a lot of fun there.
In case you are wondering Gaia online is a sort of RPG website where you created and modify avatars, play game, make virtual gold, chat in forums and whatnot. It is a really nice and well developed site and it is very interesting with its Holiday specials (like the rockin' Halloween special) and so on.
So if you have been on it, let me know what you think. If you haven't heard of it before, go check it out, it is really a nice site.

I was into this for a while but then runescape kinda took over.
It was fun and they were starting to let you put the girl clothes on the guy avatars when I stopped which was fun

I used to go onto Gaia Online. But then I realized, most of the people on Gaia are far too opinionated, and thet use their opinions very harshly. A lot of people there act like their above everyone else, so that's the main reason why I stopped going there.

Unfourtunately, that is true. I generally avoid those types of people and mostly communicate with my friends. If I com across one of those people I just ignore them. Some people are just waaaaaaay to opinionated and insist that others have to know there opinion. They also insist that there is no validity to any one else opinion.Neon Heart wrote:I used to go onto Gaia Online. I personally don't feel that way, but a lot pf people do. I found a quote once that I like to take to heart, "In order to be understood, you have to understand" So in order to get your point accross, you have to understand their points and arguments.
Gaia however is a totally differnet topic. For the most part people tend to be polite, and as a person who isn't in the forums much, it doesn't bother me usually.

Meh. I used to go there (my account is still there, just inactive), but I've drifted away. Most of the stuff for the avatars costs way too much, and I haven't had the energy to put up with a lot of the people in the forums in order to earn gold. I'm not that talkative, anyway. (Who could've guessed?) ^^;;

That is sort of funny actually. Most people don't do that. I haven't had any problems with that.

*Shrugs* I don't like it, either.
I used to be a member many moons ago. Hell, my char may still be active. I used to hang out in the little marketplace, and sell these little asian pillows and bento boxes I made in photoshop. It got boring really quick, I never found anything fun to do on the site, and I'm just not big on those whole communities. Plus, I've seen far too much drama on Gaia to even think about wanting to be a part of that.

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

To each his own. I don't care if other people don't like it. i find stuff to do and it makes me happy so I go there. But if others don't agree, that is fine. I am not going to worry about it.

I don't think anybody was arguing with you, simply stating their opinions. No need to be defensive =Pyamichan2 wrote:To each his own.
