I thought this could be a sort-of counter to the Annoyance thread, where we could show our appreciation for the good or nice things in life that make us happy.

Case in point: I'm so lucky to live in a time where I can miss a TV show, screw up the tape timer, and fix it by hopping onto the Internet and downloading it.

I was glad to be there in my grandfather's final moments and that my uncle was there to give him last rites.

If you are going to see him, then you should see me too. We're only like 2 and a half hours away from each other. =P

To actually add to the thread, I am happy that there is a good chance I will be out of the store I'm at now in a little less than a month if our shift we just train is doing well. Even better is that I'll be sent to my old store for December to help out. After that, I'll finally be sent to a new home in the Cicero store, where my first GM currently is. There's no gurantee that will all happen of course, but after a long talk with my DM, it is highly likely. That's the best case scenario, worst case is that I'll have to wait until January to get out of that store, which is not that bad, though I'm hoping for the best obviously.

I'm happy because for the first time in my life I've realized that I am physically pretty... and not just pretty, but beautiful.

I'm happy because I'm becoming stronger every day, and I can feel it.

I'm happy because I'm learning the true importance of friendship. So much so, that friends are what has brought me back here. And not only have I become closer with a number of old acquaintances this year, but I've made a few new close (and wonderful) friends. And man am I ever having fun spending time with them.

I'm happy because although I am single and living alone, I am taking care of myself, doing shit I need to do, and not only surviving, but thriving.

I'm happy that I'm talented, funny, sexy, and a pervert. =P

I'm happy that I'm going to graduate next semester, and possibly follow my dream of moving out to the Western US.

I'm happy because although a lot of people don't understand me, I do, and that's all that really matters.
