Christina is my real name, but some people use Christine as an abbr. because it's one less syllable or something 0__o;
Peachvampiress has an account on DeviantArt. Insanity Within.
And a Myspace account for her clothing designs.

A friend of mine is giving birth to an Emmie Claire (it was going to be Emma but her hubby is Japanese--and of course it will be "Emi" if they're going to see his parents).

I think the "i" instead of "y" works sometimes. Nikki is a very common for a girl. usually boys spell it Nicky. So I don't see anything wrong with it. And my name is Jodi, which can also be spelt Jody or Jodie. (people constantly spell my name with the "ie" ~_~) According to my name meaning book and a couplesites, Jody and Jodi have different meanings too. o_O The others look plain wierd spelt with an "i" to me though.
I agree, Tiff! I don't really see what's so bad about changing a Y to an I. I don't consider that any more unique! And kids' names can be unique, as well as their personalities. There's nothing wrong with that!

The thing is, Henrietta has—how can I put this? Kind of a big butt. If Henrietta were a celebrity? She’d be J-Lo.
Not that J-Lo has what I would call a big butt. But others have opined that this is so. I think J-Lo has a normal, healthy butt. As does Henrietta.

I dunno. I was just looking at it and I suddenly got this urge to get inside. No, not just an urge - more than that. It was my destiny to be here; in the box. And then when I put it on, I suddenly got this feeling of inner peace. I can´t put it into words. I feel... safe. Like this is where I was meant to be. Like I´d found the key to true happiness.

You forgot "Bessie". IMO "Bessie" is a name that should be given to cars driven by Jon Pertwee and characters in Enid Blyton books. Never to girls who don't want to get their names indirectly associated with blue boxes and funny-looking monsters or human body parts (but then again, "Beth" fits the latter category too).

All of my favorite names are either Irish, Scottish, English, or Biblical. Yay for boringness!

Girls:
Keira (My middle name. It's of Irish origins, but everyone thinks that it's Japanese.)
Shawn (It is very rare, but it can be used for a girl.)
Christina
Hannah
Charlie (Yes, it too can be a girls name.)

Boys:
Alexander
Jacob
Shawn (Okay, so I really like that name...)
Douglas
Charlie (And that one...)

They're Arabic names, Tiff, I'm from Saudi Arabia. xD I tried to subsitute some letters with two, but I don't think I succeeded. There aren't English letters for them and I don't think you can make those kind of sounds.
