Pedophiles are scary, I can't believe your supervisor actually let him stay for a bit but at least he shooed him off in the end.the*blue*girl wrote:Ewwww ok so at the day camp I work at we had a creeper today. He hung around for a while, just staring creepily at us and the kids. The staff was kinda freaked out, but since it's at a public park, we couldn't really tell him to go away. Then he went up to one group of kids and was like "You guys should come to my house, it's fun and safe and not far from here". We were like, "Ok, time to call the police" but our supervisor was like "No, he's allowed to stay. BTW guys you should act more mature about this". We were like WTF how is worrying about the safety of our kids NOT being mature? So he hung around for a long time, just staring at us and eye raping our kids, who were completly oblivious. He just kept appearing at random times to stare and glare at us, then he'd go away. Eventually our supervisor grew some balls and told him that he was worrying the staff and needed to leave or she would call the police. He got all angry and left, which is what should have happened HOURS before if she would just have called the police earlier, like when he first started talking to the kids. Sheesh. Hopefully he stays away tomorrow.

lol, that works too.Sounds like you need to teach the kids in day camp the scream, scratch, and kick 'em in the nuts technique.
LMFAO!!!!!! I agree with NameGoesHere also.NameGoesHere wrote:Sounds like you need to teach the kids in day camp the scream, scratch, and kick 'em in the nuts technique.![]()
Umm, actually, public area or not, you could have called the police on him. A grown man who comes to a park alone has no business hanging around a group of kids and women, much less does he have any business inviting said kids to his house. Merely the fact that he had your staff reasonably worried for the kids was enough to press charges against the guy.the*blue*girl wrote:Ewwww ok so at the day camp I work at we had a creeper today. Just because his presence there was making the staff uncomfortable does not warrent his removal from the park, it is public property and as such he has everyright to be there as anyone else, but the moment he approach the children he cross the line and the supervior should have immediately step in and confront the man, and ask him to leave and if he did not then contact the proper authorities.jupiter23 wrote:Umm, actually, public area or not, you could have called the police on him. A strange man is openly inviting children to his house becuase it's "more fun", and this isn't a red flag to her?
If my child were snatched from that camp, you bet your ass I'd be suing somebody after hearing the supervisor did nothing about it.
Hellll yeah sounds good to me XDSounds like you need to teach the kids in day camp the scream, scratch, and kick 'em in the nuts technique.
