I'm a performing arts/film student, and in my film analysis class we had an all-year project where we had to create a list of 1,001 films that we thought were the most important of all time, and we had to write why for all of them. I just got done!!!!! I'm so excited. I showed it to one of my classmates, and she had only heard of about half of them though, oh well. I was surprised i got done so soon. I hope I get an A.

(Would also like to point out, if your suspended out of school at my school, you get a 0 on any work you miss automatically, and I agree that NCLB is about as smart as the ugly stick I use to mentally beat things)

My new jacket that I got a couple weeks ago is totally pimp. It's a white long sleeve track jacket, with blue stripes in a couple places, the Wii logo on the front, and Wii Sports logo on the back. I thought it looked awesome, and the price was right (twas on clearance and Hot Topic had a sale on clearance items, paid $12 for a $50 jacket

) so I picked it up. I've gotten compliments all around, from friends, family, a couple co-workers I didn't expect. Even less expected is random people have made comments too. Twas awesome when I picked up my beer just now and had the cashier randomly just compliment it. XD

California's tax laws rock. Since I live out of state because of military duties, I get everything I payed to CA back. That's going to be over $400 next year.

Edit to add: Shit, I forgot, I'm going to Monterey in a few months, and will be there for a while. Oh well, the last two tax returns were really nice because of that law.

x_x Nothing's better than having to clean up piles and piles of cat puke at 2:00 am...after having insomnia and JUST getting to sleep...and knowing you have to get up at 6:30 am for orientation.

Today is the 1 year memorial for the travesty that happened at Virginia Tech. I know everyone is busy, but if we could just take a few moments out of the day to have a time of reflection and prayer and think of all the families, students, and friends that were involved or taken away that day.

But not only at Virginia Tech, for there have been more unnecessary and unwarranted shootings on many college campuses since then. It saddens me to see so many promising, up and coming professionals who want to either better themselves or this country or even this world to be targeted in such a manner. No where in this world would these actions be justified. Let us pray for all the schools, nationwide and worldwide, and remember.

Well, yesterday my grand-dad died. It's the first time anyone in my family (who I've been close to) has died. It's weird feeling this way.

I wanted to keep up with the posting here and leave comments but im fighting a sinus infection gonna get more sleep hope everyone is doing alright. Hopefully when I wake i'll be able to breathe better and not have watery eyes and a headache from hades.

In other news, I am hungry, the kitchen is full, but I don't want any of what's there! Man, these weird cravings may kill me one day. Do I eat something and remain disappointed of not eating what I want, or go running to buy what I want (considering I have little money on my pocket)? This is vexing...

I have my flashdrive, and because I had music saved on it that I was going to transfer to a different one to burn to CD... and the school CPU has Windows Media Player. XD
