It's called "joking." I was not being mean. That didn't even sound mean. I'm just so fucking tired of people jumping on me for shit that dosen't really matter. It's been happeneing all week and it really gets on my nerves. I'm really insulted that you would think I would be mean just because the people of SMU couldn't guess a damn song. Next song, though.

*Steps in meekly* I actually know this song ... it's the Full Metal Panic! OP theme, "Tomorrow". (I actually have the full version of this song ... it's really quite good).

Tiff, I'm sorry. I had just had the goddamn day from hell, and when I'm in that bad of a mood, I tend to get REALLY mad at the slightest provocation. That just set me off. Please excuse me when I do that; I just have no control over my emotions sometimes. However, today was a good day  so I feel much better.

You were right, shansen. NOW POST A SONG!

I accept your apology. If you have a bad day, I understand that, but don't take it out on anyone here again, ok? Everyone has bad days, but sometimes you gotta deal with them on your own or vent about it rather than exploding.

*Looks at Tiff and Sailor X * Hopefully, everything's been straightened out now. So, getting back on track:

Here's one of my all-time favourite anime songs (probably #1 or #2 on my list) ... it has really great harmony, by the way:

naze darou koi no shikata sae sukkari wasureteta
deai wa itsuka kuru wakare no hajimari to
itsu no manika kimetsukete ita
Why? I've completely forgotten how to love
Meetings will come someday with the beginning of parting
Somehow, I have decided upon that idea

yogoreta SUNIIKAA no hodoketa himo musunde kureta
hanikamu anata no egao asahi o abite TOKIMEIta kyuu ni
You tied my loose shoe laces of my dirty sneakers
Your shy smile suddenly shone in the sunlight

(Chorus)
aisareta ikara aishita iwake jyanai massugu
aisuru yuuki o kureta ne
kore kara no tabi ni futari ima chikau yo
nani ga atte mo kono te hanasanai zutto
It's not that I love for want of love
You gave me the courage to love straight-forward
The two swear to the journey from now
That no matter what occurs, the two hands will never part

(End Chorus)

fushigi da ne itsumo no keshiki mo tokubetsu ni miete kuru
hana ya tori ya umi kaze yama amai taiyou
subete kagayaki yori sou naka
It's weird, the everyday landscape begin to seem special
The flowers, birds, and sea breeze, mountains, sweet sun
When everything shines and cuddles together

tokenai JIGUSOU no saigo no PIISU mitsuketa yo
ooki na anata no senaka watashi mamorare tsuite yuku eien ni
I found the last piece to the unsolvable jigsaw puzzle
Your broad back protects me and I'll continue to follow you for eternity

ima made konna ni mawari michi shita kedo massugu
aisuru jishin o moteta ne
asu kara no yume ni futari ima yukau yo
nani ga atte mo hitomi sorasanai
Until now, I've took the longer way around but
I'm finally able to love straight-forward
The two will head to the dream of tomorrow
No matter what occurs, the gaze won't be shifted

[Instrumental]

aisareta ikara aishita iwake jyanai massugu
aisuru yuuki o kureta ne
asu kara no yume ni futari ima yukau yo
nani ga atte mo hitomi sorasanai

It's not that I love for want of love
You gave me the courage to love straight-forward
The two will head to the dream of tomorrow
No matter what occurs, the gaze won't be shifted

(Repeat Chorus)

Good call, SailorBoy. It might not have been the most difficult one, but like I said, it's one of my favourites. The anime is really good (52 episodes in total), although I doubt it stands a chance of ever being licensed, seeing how it's centered around the songs and it would be nearly impossible to translate them.

I guess you're up ... *checks remainder of this thread* ... again? That's the second one you've gotten right ... so far.

It's been over 2 days now ... so far, it looks like SailorBoy has the best chance of stumping everyone.

I think a 10-day limit might be too much ... I mean, in 10 days, this thread might be off the main page! Maybe it should be limited to ... I don't know, 4 or 5?

I changed that already. It's a 4 day limit, and when everyone has been stumped, the person must reveal the song (you don't have to berate everyone anymore unless you want to), and put up another. Or you can give your oppurtunity to someone else- like me!

It's been four days, the song was "ASK" by Kelly Chen and I think I'll post another song, thank you very much.

I wanna take you by surprise forever

I wanna take you by surprise forever
原來戀愛是一種需要
I wanna take you by surprise forever
原來愛情是一種預告

我想知道 有多可靠 在你的眼角 藏著一點點輕佻
你很好 就是微笑 不多不少碰到 我需要愛情的冰島
挑起我高隆的心跳
(結局完全出乎意料)
Repeat *

cmo'n cmo'n come to me come to me right now
挑起我高隆的心跳 (結局完全出乎意料)

Repeat *

I just see a whole mess of question marks...
"Tell my tale to those who ask... tell it truthfully, the ill deeds along with the good, and let me be judged accordingly. The rest... is silence..." last words of Dinobot, "Code of Hero"
"Is that a poisonous elephant in your pocket or are you happy to see me?" ~another forum
"Monster! I''''m going to collide with you indefinitely as my limbs flail wildly about!" ~NPC, Dragon Warrior VII
"I bet you were thinking how hot it would be to see Tsunade with her gates wide open, inviting you..." ~DuneMan
"To use gaming terms, Tyrannosaurus Rex was a camper--- and he pwned his prey!" ~BaronVonAwesome
"I prefer to beat my opponents the old-fashioned way: brutally!" ~Dinobot

I really don't have any idea what this song is, so I'm just going to take a very unoriginal guess at the title (that probably everyone is thinking of): "I wanna take you by surprise forever".

As for an artist ... hmmm, since I really have no idea, I'll go with the artist of the last song, Kelly Chen (I'm assuming we need both the song and artist to get it right).

I might be completely off the mark, but seeing as how I can't read Chinese (the only other thing I can read is the "c'mon c'mon" part at the very end, which doesn't seem very likely to be the name of the song), it's the best guess I can come up with.

So, to summarize, my guess is:
Song: "I wanna take you by surprise forever"
Artist: Kelly Chen

You got the artist right, but the song title isn't correct. Good try though, it was a brave guess.

guys, come on. How can we guess it if it's written in chinese characters?

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

If you can read Chinese or listen to Chinese pop, then you can guess it. It's not that much different than guessing a song that's written in romanji that's from some random anime that nobody has seen. Besides, my goal was to make it challenging, not so overtly easy that anybody could get it and I've succeeded in that. Now, Sailor X, feel free to post whatever song you like.

The song is "愛情來了 (Love is Here)" by Kelly Chen.

Actually, there's a huge difference. I can read the roumaji, and at least know what the words to the song sound like. However, I can't even hear the words if its in Chinese. I have no idea what the words to that song were. So, even if I had heard the song, I wouldn't know because I couldn't tell what the words were. Unlike in roumaji, where I can pick out the words that I hear.
"I loved you. I was a pentapod monster, but I love you. I was despicable and brutal and turpid, mais je t'aimais, je t'aimais. And there were times when I knew how you felt, and it was hell to know it. My Lolita girl, brave Dolly Schuller."

Exactly what ParaKiss said...I don't know what Chinese symbols sound like...I dont know the sounds for each symbol. Whereas, Romanji can be pronounced by someone who doesn't speak japanese becuase it's written in the English alphabetic letters.
