I just finished Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Wow Disney really screwed that one up.

Im going to start through the looking glass soonish.

I'm reading two-Sense and Sensibility and Prince Caspian.

I'm reading Sense and Sensibility for a English paper/project and I'm reading Prince Caspian before the release of the film version which is coming out soon.

I also was reading Memoirs of a Geisha in Spanish, but I've put off on that now, mainly reading it for fun and refreshing my memory because I've read it once before in English.

I just finished reading 'The Earth, my butt and other big round things.' It's nice to get a book that allows the reader to experience the life of a plus size teen. I'm tired of all this emphasis on size zeros.

I have to read 'The handmaid's tale', '1984' and 'Brave new world' over the summer for my second year of english literature.

Anyway, I just finished "1984" by George Orwell, a birthday present from my friend. It was good, proof that not all classics are boring.

I just finished Lost by Gregory Macguire (Wicked, Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister, etc.). It was pretty good, I liked it better than I did Mirror, Mirror. It wasn't as good as Wicked or Confessions (my fave) though. It was really confusing, but maybe unclear is a better word. For most of the book you don't know if the narrator is insane, possesed, or just seeing and hearing things. It was really interesting.

Also I finished Breaking Dawn (and therefore the available books in the Twilight series) while I was with my state youth choir. I can't wait for Midnight Sun to come out! I've always wondered what it would be like to hear things from Edward's perspective. I plan on reading The Host soon, but my bookstore didn't have it in the last time I went. : (

I just read the 3rd in the Eragon series. Brisingr.

It was pretty good. So far I like Eldest the best but still great stuff.

And kudos to Chrisopher Paolini for the Dr. Who reference

I'm pretty far into Running With Scissors. It's pretty good, but it's really odd...not confusing so much as just...wierd. It's a little perverted, but I like it. It's very easy to read, and just makes you want to read "just one more chapter." It's hard to believe people actually did these things though (it's a non-fiction memior), for example:
[spoiler]There's a whole section where the psychiatrist thinks that God is communicating with him through his bowel movements, and he has his daughter put them outside on a picnic table to dry...[/spoiler]

I just started A Lion Among Men!!! It's the third book in the Wicked series by Gregory Maguire, and it's pretty good so far. I love this series.
