I also used to be scared of Who Framed Roger Rabbit? for some reason but I don't remember why.
Was it because of Judge Doom and when he goes crazy at the end, because it sure as Hell scared me.

I see we're starting to do T.V. shows. Maybe I should make it easier and just list things that didn't scare me (I was a big wussy as a child)

Several episodes of The Real Ghostbusters scared me (they had some freaky scary ghosts on there), one episode of Batman the Animated series where this woman remembers burning down a warehouse as a child (fire was one of many things that scared me), and I feel really stupid for saying this, but there was an episode of Sesame Street with some Sherlock muppet and a white bedsheet wearing ghost that scared the bejeezus out of me.

Oh, and this one really fucked up my mind. Ever since I was born I have been around cats. When I was two I got my own cat and still have him today. In my life I've owned five cats. I had lots of cat memerobilia growing up etc. In short I loved cats very much. There was some cat program that aired when I was about six. One particular episode showed some Native Americans putting a cat into a basket and lowering it into a fire as a sacrifice. And mom let me watch this. I missed the beginning and thought based on the screams that it was a baby (which wouldn't have upset me), but my mom "assured" me it was a cat.

I remember when I first saw the Aladdin movie, the Cave of Wonders scene scared the hell out of me. Not when they're initially going into it, but when the monkey (Abu? Something like that) grabs this giant ruby, which they weren't supposed to do. Suddenly, all the treasure starts melting away, the ceiling starts to fall in, and there's all this lava everywhere. And if that isn't bad enough to a little kid, the cave ITSELF (because this is a magic cave, you see) roars out "You will never again see the light... OF DAAAAYYYY!!"

And it does trap him, as I recall. Aladdin nearly dies.

Gave me nightmares for weeks...
Three quotes I like:

"Smart. Beautiful. Mercurius Twin."
- The "Sloganize" website

"Stop that, you! You're an accessory."
-Tsukino Usagi (to Luna, ep. 6)

"Stop the clapping! YOU'LL KILL US ALL!!"
- Professor Frink

When I was ~9 I saw The Shining on TV.

Lets just say it was very difficult to get a good nights sleep for the rest of that week.

Heck yes, The Shining is one of the most disturbing movies ever made in my opinion. Even today after seeing it a ton of times it still messes with my head. One of my favorite movies, I love it. =D

I was afraid of Sailor Moon when I was little... well, when I was very little.

I think it was the youma in the first season that scared me. I don't know. I just didn't like it.

That show freaked me out too...One in particular (I only ever saw it once, so I'm fuzzy in the details) really creeped me out. It was about this troll-like creature that befriended a boy. As they became better and better "friends", the boy started to look like the creature. I do believe the boy would ultimatly have become one of the creatures. He was so warped by the troll-thing, that he wanted to look like the creature, and that thing was the most freaktastic looking thing! That un-nerved me.

My mom liked to watch weird movies about bugs seeking revenge. Kingdom of the Spiders and Them creeped me out terribly as a child. could never look at spiders and ants the same for a long time.

When I was a kid, Polterguist also scared me. Couldn't go near that movie.

For a while Swamp Thing scared me until I really watched it and realized it wasn't so bad.

The trailer alone from Nightmare before Christmas scared me so much when I was a little younger. I couldn't even turn on the TV anymore. Now, I'm still a bit scared. The last time I saw a NBC poster, I thought it were quite macabre, especially at the time I saw this trailer.

For me it was these advertisements they had in a magazine I read. I would skip past the pages that had them because they scared me.

Yet sometime between seeing those advertisements and when the film came to theatres I changed my mind and wanted to see it. I'm not quite sure what changed my mind (it may have been the T.V. commercials), but I wanted to see it more than anything. It's my favorite movie now (and I still own the magazine with those ads).

Just rememered....Rumplestilskin. A fairy tale gone bad about this evil little monster (who, from what I remember, resembles the Crypt Keeper) who steals babies. Ughhh...and the fact that a woman in the 1990's BUYS his BRAIN from a SHOP, (which brings him back to life) was fricken bizarre enough.....o_0 Man, I used to be so afraid that creep would come and steal me while I was sleeping and turn me bad. (I was 8.)
And don't get me started on Pinocchio's Revenge...yet another fairy tale gone bad.

A few movies really scared me as a kid one was Gremlins, ugh they suck ya in with Gizmo's cuteness then bam Spike comes at ya and the other ones and that scene with the gremlin in the microwave...*barf and tramatized*

another movie was the dark crystal which I loved now but as a kid ugh scared the bejezus out of me those puppets were creepy and I still have a hang up about puppets and clowns (bad experience at Ringling Bros can thank that to)

Watership down was another movie I seen that as a child and it lures you in with cute bunnies then everything goes to hades, theres feral rabbits fighting and snake creatures and that movie warped my fragile little mind.

Then there was a movie called creepies or something like that these little voracious monsters that attacked this town, watching the movie now its lame specially with the aliens who come to destroy them and its more cheezy humor then horror but as a kid man ugh.

Tv wise the show tales from the darkside that music still haunts me and I cannot stand driving down wooded paths during evening or early morning hours specially if its foggy ya just keep thinking somethings coming out of that woods...

The video "Thriller" by michael jackson was scary to me to seeing zombies no matter how well they can dance will mess with a kids mind.

And when I was about 5 my mom got me a viewmaster with a Kiss disk in it lol I thought they were mutant cat monsters and could not look at my viewmaster for weeks afterwards. Now I love listening to the band...go fig.

*Edited remembered the name of watership down*
"Have you been half asleep? And have youve heard voices?
I hear them calling my name."
Is this the sweet sound, that calls the young sailors?
The voice maybe one in the same.
Ive heard it too many times to ignore it,
its something that I sposed to be..
Someday we''''ll find it, the rainbow connection
The lover, the dreamer, and me..."
