EEEEE! August is definately going to be my month not just with the release of Rule of Rose (PS2) and Hong Kong Phooey, but with my old childhood favorite, Darkwing Duck!http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=5710

I'm happy that Disney is going to release the first season, but there's some things I'm worried about; will the episodes be censored, and the episodes that were taken out, put back in? I'm concerned because when Diseny released Gargoyles, the banned episode "Deadly Force" was on it, but the pool of blood was taken out, which should NEVER be done on a DVD release. They let Muttley call Dastardly an "Indian giver" on the release of Dastardly and Muttley in Their Flying Machines; sure, it's a different company, but to me that line is worse.

I'm also curious about next month's release of Animaniacs which, as you know, had some questionable content in it. If Road Rovers ever comes out, I'm also worried that the Russian Names Song with the bit "sonovivich (or something like that, you can tell what it sounds like)" won't be included.

*ahem* Yeah, well, the main point is promote the DWD release in hopes all the seasons will come out, but feel free to talk about any of the cartoons mentioned.
