I also forgot to mention the other things I got ^^;;;

I also recieved:
~a compact mirror (a really nice one, not like the cheap crappy ones at the drug store. I think the case is made of real silver actually.)
~a really nice keychain
~an LED light

I didn't get much for Christmas this year because the digital camera was so expensive. It's a Pentax Optio S30. But, I'm really happy with it. Pentax cameras kick ass. Now I can finally post more pics on these boards! I can't wait XD

EDIT: I noticed that there's 10 languages programmed on on my digital camera  I programmed it in Japanese XD

Nothing on my list came true, but I'm not worried.

-money from my parents
-a plush elephant from my sister
-a plush penguin from my parents
-a brand new purse from my aunt
-an amethyst necklace (real) from my boyfriend

It's a been really awesome. I just love plush animals. I want to save them for my children someday.

For my Christmas and birthday combined, I got:
Gundam SEED (anime) vol 1-3
Video Girl Ai (manga) vol. 1
Ultrasaurus Zoid model (this thing freaking wins. It's the size of a cat, and for a Zoid model that's damn big!)
A load of books
$200
a $50 gift certificate for Amazon.com

And we haven't even visited our relatives yet...
"Tell my tale to those who ask... tell it truthfully, the ill deeds along with the good, and let me be judged accordingly. The rest... is silence..." last words of Dinobot, "Code of Hero"
"Is that a poisonous elephant in your pocket or are you happy to see me?" ~another forum
"Monster! I''''m going to collide with you indefinitely as my limbs flail wildly about!" ~NPC, Dragon Warrior VII
"I bet you were thinking how hot it would be to see Tsunade with her gates wide open, inviting you..." ~DuneMan
"To use gaming terms, Tyrannosaurus Rex was a camper--- and he pwned his prey!" ~BaronVonAwesome
"I prefer to beat my opponents the old-fashioned way: brutally!" ~Dinobot

Me, I got lots of cool stuff ^_^

-A reaaaaaaaally nice sushi serving set (wooden tray, glass bowls etc.)
-Petshop of Horrors Vol.2 (OMFG Dominatrix Dentists kick ass XD)
-A $20 gift card for A&B Sound
-A kick ass Trailer Park Boys shirt that says "A Dope Trailer's No Place For A Kitty" (it's orange, the colour I hate most, but it's still cool).
-Sandro Del-Prete Calendar
-Flower Drawing Book
-Lots of Nail Care stuff and gaudy, glittery make-up

But these don't even come close to the absolute most Freakin' Kick Ass gift of all. My mom knows some people who are in Vegas on vacation, and she asked them to buy me a special Elton John t-shirt and send it here. That's right. I have a t-shirt of Elton John playing THE Red Piano infront of Cesar's palace. This t-shirt is only available at a special store in Vegas. It's a nice shirt with a nice pic of Elton on it, AND IT'S MINE XD :evil laughter:

All my friends have shirts of their favorite rock stars on it, now I do to.

-Dark Cloud 2
-$200
-A case for my CD player and CDs
-a cosmetic bag with lipstick, hair bands, body spray, body wash, etc
-I can walk without crutches now, so that part came true. Before Christmas actually ^^ The whole healing process of a broken ankle is so long though. I still have some time to go.

Well almost nothing on my earlier list came true, and I changed my mind about the music CDs. I do however plan on spending some of that money on the GCN w/Double Dash
"This guy are sick."- Aeris (Final Fantasy VII)

I actually shouldn't answer until later today since I still have other relatives to visit, but so far I've got more then I asked for! (then again, I only actually asked for two things from my parents anyway)

-A whole bunch of Best Buy gift certificates (from my relatives on my dad's side of the family because that's what I told them I wanted; that way I can go there and buy anime DVDs!)
-Two "Comic Party" DVDs that were a HUGE WONDERFUL surprise from my parents because I had told them I was going to buy the box set with my own money! :D (I usually try to buy my anime myself since I actually have a small weekend job now)
-The two presents I already mentioned, the story about my characters and the Sailor Moon calendar
-A few sociology books on topics ranging from women's roles in vaudeville to the hillbilly stereotype :)

But I can update this list tonight too!

By the way, no, I'm not super-rich or anything like that, but I'm very close to my parents and I talk to them a lot about my interests in sociology and anime, so they know the kinds of things I like.

Sigh, the holidays are sadly over, but in a way, I'm sort of glad because Christmas can really wear you out. Anyway, this year for Christmas I got...

-Yugioh uncut volume one and two(DVD)
-Shaman King uncut volume two(DVD)
-The Legend of Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link(for GBA)
-CD player
-I also got $30 from my grandma, which I will use to buy The Shining Mini-series DVD, if I can still find it at the video store.

There's a book on Hillbilly Sterotypes? LOL. You are so going to one day write a big book called "The Complete List of Sterotypes" that'll benefit mankind. ^_^

Maybe. That would be interesting. It would have to be updated with sequels a lot though because stereotypes sometimes change. Or, at least get new covers even if the core stays the same. I would certainly read it if there was a book like that, though. Thanks for the compliment, peachvampiress!

Santa was nice this year.
I got:
Return of the King extended edition
the original Star Wars trilogy
a CD of Vivaldi's music
a CD set of all 9 of Beethoven's symphonies
a DVD-ROM drive for my computer
a CD for the computer- The Encyclopedia of Arda-An Interactive Guide to the Works of J.R.R. Tolkien

Since my name, Melissa, means honeybee and my grandmother called me "my little honeybee," she got me an ornament of a hive with honeybees on it and a check for $50. My other grandmother got me a really comfortable blanket that has a mother cat and her kittens sitting in a window and she embroidered my name in the corner. She said that when she saw the blanket she thought of me. My grandfather gave me $25 which I plan on using to buy a DVD case and blank CDs. I got from my aunt a really nice watch.

It's always fun to go back and read the posts in this thread from last year and see what all you actually got from your list. Anyway, this year on my wish list is:

Anime DVDs:
X The Movie
Angelic Layer boxset
Azumanga Daioh boxset

Non-anime DVDs:
Ringu DVD boxset
Harry Potter And The Sorceror's Stone(I'm like the only person in the world who still hasn't seen Harry Potter)
Charlie And The Chocolate Factory
