Okay, who else was in love with this show? I know it's trashy, but it's kind of like watching a train run over a car at a site where a plane is about to crash. And I genuinely liked some of the girls.
SIDE NOTE: My personal belief is that is one spits one a person, one deserves whatever one gets.

Oh gosh, my mom and I used to watch this show like it was part of our religion. Her and I would always laugh at how dumb some of the girls could be (Like Hottie, or whatever her name was, tried to cook an ENTIRE chicken in the microwave in 30 minutes, LOL!), or cringe at how mentally out there New York seemed to be.
I also have the Flavor of Love reunion recorded on my ReplayTV. I thought the part where New York and Pumkin seemed to 'battle it out' again seemed rather scripted, though. Like... All Pumkin did was say "I'm glad you live on the opposite side of the world as me, and I just don't like you.", and New York goes all nuts and charges at her. Do people really fly off the handle THAT easily?
I personally thought the first show was great, and I hear their doing another one, because
Flav and Hoopz said that they were friends, but they didn't think an actual relationship would work out.
I wish I had golden teeth like Flav... xD;

Ok, I'm guilty of watching a little of this show. Mainly because I was bored...
I did see that spit thing. Still grosses me out. Where I do feel that was uncalled for, I also feel that New York's response was way worse. When her and Pumkin met up again, New York was trying to kill her. And she kept insisting that she's a classier and better woman. In my opinion, if you're truely a better person, you don't go around fighting like a wild cat repeatedly.

I saw it, too, and not only was I grossed out, but surprised. Only because it caught me off guard a bit, lol.DreamEmpress wrote:I did see that spit thing. Still grosses me out.
But, I don't think it was just the spit thing that was gross, I just think, as a whole, that Pumkin is kind of a gross person. I remember in that one episode of FoL, when the girls had to electrify Flav's senses, he said that Pumkin smelled like bacon.
EW!!! EW!!! EW!!! That ain't right!!! And plus she's the one who looks like a man, not New York. I just think she's confused on that part.
And yeah, I also believe New York's actions toward Pumkin could have been less.... is homicidal a good word? LOL. But I do believe that she also might have a little bit of a mental thing going on, too. I mean, how many of you remember seeing her mom on that show? *Shudders* Her mom is worse than she is.

My daddy was addicted to the show. But I couldn't watch it. I really tried but I just couldn't get over the girls or Flavor Flav. I've never been able to watch those kind of shows though like The Bachloer.

YES. Did you ever go to an inner-city high school? Middle school? I see that sort of thing every day, especially among young black women. Besides, anybody could tell New York wasn't listening to anything that bitch (I'm on NY's side) had to say. She simply waited till the 30 sec. was over and Pumkin had stopped talking, and did what she said she was going to do. I wish she'd slapped her just one good time, and gotten some (but not enough) revenge.Neon Heart wrote: I also have the Flavor of Love reunion recorded on my ReplayTV. ugh. am i the only one who would just love to beat flavor flav in the head until he loses his motor reflexes? i'm so tired of him! he has to be by far the most annoying pseudo-celebrity ever. as for the show itself, i'm not really into reality tv as it is, and this show reminds me a lot of jerry springer for some reason. and, of course, i hate jerry springer with a burning passion. my mom and sister watch it religiously, but then they also watch jerry springer and maury, so you know.
