Saw PotC 2 at least three times. *counts* oh, four

.
The last movie I saw was the Devil Wears Prada, and I found it entertaining. Though it doesn't beat PotC in my eye

... hehe.
One word : Johnny Depp. Oops, that's two words

The last movie I saw was Macbeth. It was full of sound and fury, although what exactly it signified is debatable. The witches became schoolgirls, Scotland became Australian gang territory and Banquo's ghost chose to strangle Macbeth, but all in all I enjoyed it.

ive seen 3 movies recently
Silent Hill which in typical video game movie fashion really stunk.
X-Men 3 which I really enjoyed and hope they make a 4th one (assuming they can get the same actors)
and a more obscure movie called The Perfect Score which is a movie about kids trying to steal the answers to the SATs. It was suprisingly good, and since I totally despise the SATs (which should be renamed the WOTs (waste of time) tests or possibly the MMSBTJICs (money making scheme by the jerks in charge) tests) it kinda hit home for me.

I didn't really mid thte SATs. But then again I got a 1360 the first, and only, time I took it. 710 on the verbal portion and 650 on the math portion.

Babies, chum: tiny, dimpled, fleshy mirrors of our us-ness, that we parents hurl into the future, like leathery footballs of hope. And you''ve got to get a good spiral on that baby, or evil will make an interception.

x_x I just finished watching X-3. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be but seriously, since when did : Jean Grey=ZOMG, SHE'S SUCH A GODDESS!!!
-_-;;;;;;;
Also, the award of least character development in x-men goes to:
Scott Summers/Cyclops.
All we get to know about him is that he has to wear funky glasses and he's in love with Jean...and that's it.

Congratulations to the lucky winners of the Winter banner contest!=D Better luck on Valentines day to those who weren''t so lucky! ^_~*

The most recent movie I've seen is...ummm School for Scoundrels that's right! It was allright and it had a lot of funny parts, but I am not that much into that kind of humor. Of course that was int he theatre. I really cant wait to see the Grudge 2 I want to see it!
Anyway tv wise I saw just Like Heaven and it was super super cute! I looved it!
Aitto Seigi, Sailor no Bishojo Senshi, Seera Mun! Tsukini Kawatte, Oshioki Yo!

I think this counts as a movie, since it was riffed on an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000, which actually made it watchable.
It was Santa Claus Conquers the Martians, and it was the hoakiest thing I've EVER seen. There was a part with a polar bear, and you could see the guy's neck who was in the costume! It was also really creepy whenever there was a "joke", because when the kids laughed, it looked they were possessed, and Santa looked evil. Also, if I ever hear anyone sing "Hooray for Santy Claus!" again, I'm going to hurt them.
Tonight, I'm going to be watching Manos: Hand of Fate. The funny thing? Manos means hands, so the movie is actually called. Hands: Hands of fate.
Seriously, though, if you enjoy making fun of bad movies, then I suggest picking up one of the many sets of MST3K that are out.

I saw Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, and I really didn't like it. And I think the protrayle of Japan was completely wrong as there seemed to be more non Japanese than Japanese people in the movie, and the high school students didn't really seem to act like Japanese high school students. Don't they study a lot instead of hanging out in slutty outfits in garages where they race cars?
I guess it's just a guy's movie.

Ah my bad. I misunderstood and thought you were talking about me. Sorry for over reacting.
But yes you're right about people being ignorant towards others.

we watched Whale Rider in my global studies class, and i actually liked it. it was a bit boring and a little confusing, but for some reason i found it really interesting. i think its one of those movies you have to be forced to watch though.

I went to see Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan today. It was very funny, but oh so wrong. It makes fun of Jews (a lot), America, third-world countries, women, gays. . . just about every sensitive group gets skewered in this movie, so much so that you just have to kind of give up your sensitivity and laugh. The scene where Borat and his producer fight each other, neither wearing a stitch of clothes, had the whole theater doubled over with laughter.
Things I think Are Funny Early in the Morning: If Batman were a Smurf: "Quick, Robin! We must smurf down to the Batcave and smurf the Batplane! Then we must smurf the batsmurf so we can smurf where the Joker is smurfing!"
The Croonerism Spate (explanations upon request)
Be careful with this one, there is a bit of a pun involved. Dr. Spooner described his visit to a castle: "In the center of the fortress was the Palace Court. The gated entrance to this area was the court palace."
