I friggin CRIED when Sao Feung died. I loved him!! ;_; He was so shined upon in the trailer now its jsut like *explision* *says few wrods* *die* I found it pathetic.
Yeah, no kidding.
You have a character like Sao Feng who Barbossa describes as being worse then him, who Barbossa BOWED to, get what was possibly the most pathetic death ever (a suprise cannon ball out of no where 30 minutes into the film).

BUT MARY-SWAN MUST SHINE ON ^___________________^!!!!!!
There's a very interesting photo I found on the spawn boards here (scroll waaaaay down). Actually this is the only place I've found this photo. I wonder where it's from since
Jack shouldn't be wearing Asian clothes since they found him way after they left Singapore
Very nice costume though.
How'd he get in that O-o; *doesn't remeber that outfit AT ALL*
I smell a possiblilty of a 4th movie....
*cries as she realizes Sao feung never got to have a kick ass fight scene befor ehis death. HE SHOULD HAVE DIED HONORABLE DAMN IT!
Okay. So I saw Pirates at the drive-in (AWESOME OMG BTW) with Joe this past weekend.

Peachvampiress, I agree ONE.HUNDRED.FUCKING.PERCENT. about Elizabeth Swann. Ask Joe. Throughout the whole movie, I kept muttering what a hussy and how annoying she was. ENOUGH with teh Mary Sue-ness. God.
And I love how at the end, after the credits, 10 years later she DOESN'T LOOK LIKE SHE'S AGED AT ALL. COME ON.
There was something throughout the movie that utterly confused me, and I just didn't get the purpose of at all.
Can someone please explain to me the point of the hundreds of Jack Sparrows throughout the movie? It kinda made sense when he was in Davy Jones's locker, becuase I assumed he was going insane in there since he was in limbo and all, but wtf was up with the many Jacks appearing later?! It just seemd like a random and kooky addition that...DIDN'T need to be there.
I did very muc like the end of the movie.
I loved the fact that Will died, not just becuase he's stupid (XD; ), but it made for a better ending than "OMG EVERYBODY IS HAPPY!1! & EVERYTHING WERKS OUT!1!ONE". So I did very much approve of that.
All in all, I enjoyed the movie, but I do hope there aren't any others. Three is enough.

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

Regarding your spoiler, Tiff:
It's my belief that the time spent in Davey Jones' Locker messed Jack up even MORE than he already was, and so he kept the whole "multiple Jack" hallucinations when he left. This time, though, they weren't there just to give him the illusion of a crew (something he perhaps greatly desired in the Locker?) but to act as the various parts of his consciousness that could guide him in his decision making. The one in the Flying Dutchman was especially representative of a possible fate Jack could face if he did decide to stab the heart and become the ship's captain.
.

And I didn't mind Swan's personality so much, perhaps because I couldn't stop being amazed at how hot she was throughout the whole thing o_o
I agree with Starscream:
The locker gave him PTSD, and thus the hallucinations later in the movie. Although it could have just been a cinematic device; like when a character "sees" the little angel of themselves on their right shoulder and a little devil of themselves on their left. If so then it may not have any canonical bearing, but just an illustration of the debate within his inner psyche. That would explain why they were still talking after Jack left the cell.

ALL HAIL THE PIRATE KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIING!!!!!!!!^_______^ FUCK!! You don't steal Teague Fucking Keith Richards Sparrows title. You just don't!
Speaking of Teague/Keith Richards, I read that the company that makes Pirates of The Caribbean figures is making an 18" talking figure of Teague (no idea what lines it's going to say yet). They're also making a smaller 6" figure, which I'll probably get.

I loved the ending for the exact same reason.
When Elizabeth's father explained the whole thing with the heart, Will was the first person that popped into my head. And then at the end with the heart scene I sat there thinking to myself, "Come on writers. Don't you wuss out on me and give a happy ending." The ending was bittersweet, I guess you could say.
School's Out

This is the notorious TV movie that laid the Degrassi franchise to rest after twelve years. It's finally graduation, and most of the Degrassi students (including Caitlin, who graduated a year early), are moving on, and probably away from each other. Joey gives Caitlin a ring (as a graduation present), Snake is all prepped to lose his virginity (and has taken a job as lifeguard in order ro romance girls), Wheels is working on his car and relishing the opportunity to have beer (even though he knows full well that cars and beer do not go together), Spike's working a part-time job to help support Emma (who, we learn, is starting at kindergarten), and Tessa is thinking that Joey may be free after Caitlin initially rejects the ring. Oh, and Simon and Alexa are getting married.

Now, I've seen up to the third season of Degrassi Junior High, and I've been known to remark that it's a series that manages to somehow be great without actually being any good. SO I was quite pleasantly surprised to find that the people involved had cleaned up their act considerably. I already knew about the fact that Wheels killed the poor kid and that Snake and Caitlin both call Joey out on the fact that he was (and I quote) "fucking Tessa Campanelli". But, still, I was simply amazed by this movie. Maybe it was just because the cast--despite having little to no experience outside of the show (although some of them cut their teeth on the prior The Kids of Degrassi Street)--had settled quite comfortably into their characters. And got better writers. And a lot of it has to do with my affection for the characters--they're all types you can relate to. And they've still got some shit to sort through--we're never told whether or not Joey will ever properly reconcile with Tessa, and Snake's still got to overcome his "how can I talk to people who are suffering worse than I am" complex.

I should probably end this review now, so I will just end it by stating that the movie appears to come in two forms--one four-part miniseries, the other a proper movie. No content has been cut from my DVD (the four-part version)--I got to hear Snake's "And, to top it all off, you were dating Caitlin and fucking Tessa" in full uncensored glory.

Well, I just got back from seeing Pixar's new movie, Ratitioue.

Pixar, as most everyone knows, is the company that brought about Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Monsters Inc., Finding Nemo, The Incredibles, and more recently, Cars. Pixar is also, the only movie-producing company I know of that has NEVER made a movie that was a piece of crap.
Ratitioue is the story of a Rat, named Remmy, that wants to become a Chef. In a nutshell, he finds himself at a gourmet resteraunt in Paris, helping out a young man, who has been put into a bad situation, and needs to work with Remmy in order to keep his job, and raise the standing of the resteraunt he is at. Going though a number of twists and turns in the movie, Pixar once again creates a brilliant picture.
Pixar is just... ALWAYS brilliant in their productions, and knows exactly how to do their own movies.

Favorite part(s):
Remmy & Linguini figuring out a system to cook. Biting, and Linguini going insane.

Remmy's random converstations with his floating helper Gusteau.

And Finally, the rats tying up the health inspector, gagging him, and throwing him into food storage. XD XD XD XD XD
My only complaint is one of the previews was the "Bratz" movie. *shudder* *twitch* *goes to restroom to puke*

I just saw transformers. A FREAKING PLUS. Best. Movie Ever.

Then again I am easy to please. But take my words these are the best speical effects I've ever seen.

I think I screamed in joy when I saw my love Optimus Prime finnaly apper. Rawr. Sexy (^^;; I'll stop)

Its just a funny movie....and action packed..
I've read reveiws for the movie, now that it is "offically" opening day. Critics will find somthing wrong with a movie. If it was the best movie ever, they would find somthing wrong with it.

Either I'm on crack or jsut easy to please, but alot of critics didn't like this movie.

Joe and I saw Ratitioue yesterday. It was SO good! It was hilarious, the animation was amazing (I was amazed with the animated water in the sewer alone. Just the way it reflected off the walls..soo beautiful), and the plot was awesome.

Not one single complaint about this movie. I think it was one of Pixar's best.

I just watched Dawn of the Dead '78. Veeeeerrrry gory and violent, although probably not to the degree of the "remake". Still pretty shocking, though I liked it because I've wanted to see it for a while. The blood effects are a little cheesy though, because in some shots the blood looks orange.

Oh well, 4/5.

I saw Harry Potter and Order of the Phoenix on, well, Friday (even though it's 3 in the morning on Sat as I write this).

I was a tad disappointed--it seemed to me that the director was trying to emulate Chris Columbus (he should have followed Cuaron and Newell, both of whom did sterling jobs). Yates also cuts out a lot of the book--the Dursleys never learn of the Dementors, much of the training gets relegated to a montage (where we get to laugh at Filch's failed attempts at reaching the Room of Requirement), much of the story is done as newspaper headlines (which, refreshingly, aren't spinning but instead are done in a manner that reminds me of Thank You For Smoking) and the Quidditch scenes are removed entirely.

I should also note that the Ministry of Magic has an interesting position--on the one hand they're downplaying the threat Voldemort causes, on the other they're going all McCarthy on the poor school and instilling some sort of teaching method that's about as useful as "Duck and Cover".

Just got back from The Order of the Phoenix.

I liked the movie overall. I think it was put together well, flowed nicely, and most of the actors were amazing (especially Dolores Umbridge. Good god, they couldn't have found a better person to play her. Luna Lovegood was awesome, as well.)

My complaints were few, but were as follows:

-The Dursleys not knowing about the Dementors. That's an IMPORTANT bit, especially since Dumbledore makes his contract with Petunia clear.

-Cho and Harry's breakup made NO. SENSE. WHATSOEVER. Originally in the book, it's Cho's friend who rats out the DA simply because she's a wimp, and Harry and Cho's relationship becomes strained for two reasons: her fixation on Cedric and his death, and her jealousy of Hermione. In the movie, they made Cho the one to rat out the DA, and Harry finds out it's because she was forced to by drinking truth potion.

Now, realistically, one would think that after finding out it wasn't Cho's fault, he would apologize and they'd be good agan. However, he just is like "Meh" and continues to hate her, which MAKES NO SENSE WTF?

-They cut the scene at the end where Harry freaks out at Dumbledore. That irritates me not only because it's one of my favorite scenes, but becuase it's just a wholly realistic display of emotion that I think Daniel Radcliffe would have done an amazing job of displaying, and they just...missed out by not having it in the movie.

-Percy. What, the Weaslys don't find it strange that one of their sons is just...miraculously missing?! He's shown in the first four movies, and then not in this one and there's NO explanation for it. That baffled me, becuase what...are they just not going to show him ever again?
In the book, he's gone because he works for the Ministry, and believes Fudge and not Harry/Dumbledore. Therefore, his ties with his family are severed, and they're constantly fueding with him, and it's a pretty big deal in the book.
My favorites in this:

-The Thestrals were done AWESOMELY.

-The duel/fighting scenes, especially at the end. Holy shit. What an awesome display of...awesome.

-The way they meshed together the thoughts in Harry's mind, from beginning to end (during the occulumency lessons, Voldemort's posession, etc)

-The acting. Superb, especially Umbridge and Harry.

-Grawp. XD

-The Twins' busting out of Hogwarts, though I was a tad disappointed in the lack of their turning the school into a swamp.

-
Sirius's death. omfg, especially since he called Harry "James" just before dying. I cried.
All in all, another awesome movie, and I can't wait for the next one already.

I totally agree on the Cho issue. I was think WTF when I was watching the movie at that part.

I for the most part enjoyed the movie but there was another part that everyone else seemed to love that really bugged me. Basically it was how Fred and George's defiance against Umbridge was handled. I guess I better "spoiler" this.
In the movie, it was one act of defiance, the Weasely twins breaking into final exams and disrupting the affair, with the students all cheering their fireworks. BULLSHIT!!!!!! These are the tests they've been preparing for for five years, the tests that determine whether they can get into advanced studies, will be eligible for elite jobs like Auror, and the Weasley's just ruined it, gave the administration an excuse to flunk anyone it didn't care for. Much as I hate Umbridge, if I were a student I'd hate the Weasley twins even more at just that moment. It was just a lame, juvenile prank instead of the well-handled undermining of authority from the book. It was a powerful scene make no mistake, but the effect was messed up for me because of this. Maybe it's all those teaching classes in me that's making me see it this way but it's still what I thought. They could have fixed it easily as well. All they needed was a montage to show the twins destroying Umbridge's authority, and then finish it off with the scene from the movie. Oh and what about the swamp? That left me in tears of laughter in the book.

As an advid Cho hater, this gives me more reson to see the movie X3.
Does this mean that theres no 'SNEAK' pimples..? :(
-Percy. What, the Weaslys don't find it strange that one of their sons is just...miraculously missing?! He's shown in the first four movies, and then not in this one and there's NO explanation for it. That baffled me, becuase what...are they just not going to show him ever again?
No percy..? T___________T This makes me sad. They cut out a big part of the book.

I haven't seen the movie yet but based on the wallpapers on the site, I am not happy with Tonks charater design for the movie.

Actually, no, they make her out to be this saintly girl who shoudl be forgiven for being forced to drink truth serum. It's bullshit. (I hate cho too, can't you tell? =P) So yeah. No SNEAK pimples.

You see him in a few shots with the Minister, but they never explain WHY he's there, or why he's not with his family, and the whole "I don't believe Harry or Dumbledore and my family's pissed at me" doesn't exist -_-

Tonks' initial design sucks, but they do a good job with her ability to change her hair and noses. XD

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.
