Used to have a few My Little Ponies. I still have my Polly Pockets. I have her mansion. I also have my Mom's Barbie doll, with short brown hair, that she had when she was a kid along the trunk.
Everybody was a baby once, Arthur. Oh, sure, maybe not today, or even yesterday. But once. Babies, chum: tiny, dimpled, fleshy mirrors of our us-ness, that we parents hurl into the future, like leathery footballs of hope. And you''ve got to get a good spiral on that baby, or evil will make an interception.

*screams at the top of my lungs* I just saw Elmo. Tickle Me Elmo...why won't they let him die? .....Ok, I'm through being a drama queen now....

See and Spell, yes I remember it well. My parents got it for me to help me with my homework. I liked playing with it. I just don't remember what ever happened to it.

My little sister loved See and Say. She would keep pulling the string and watching it land on a animal. drove me nuts. She also loves Hungry Hungry Hippos. I don't mind playing that with her. At least then I can vent my anger by pounding on them to get the marbles.

I still have my old, 1980's game boy. I loved that toy. Got a little addicted to it for a while. I recently went back and played some of the games from when I was a kid. They aren't as challenging as I remember. I also still have some of my old view master discs. I've got a smurf one and a She-Ra one.

Kya! I didn't have THAT one... ;-; LAMEES WANTS NEW LITTLEST PET SHOPS!

Did you know I never even knew the name of that toy? Yet when you said it I instantly recognized it. Definitely fits. xD

And always glad to amuse. :P xD

Honestly, you were expecting Tickle Me Elmo NOT to appear? xD;

I did not have a Speak and Spell; I had a Speak and Math. It was very hard to understand, as the "one" sounded to me like "Len."

In the GameBoy sequence, someone mentioned going to bed and still seeing Tetris shapes. I thought I was the only one.

They also showed Mouse Trap. This game always irked me because there are two major design flaws. 1: When the Metal Ball (11) runs down the Rain Gutter (13) and hits the Helping Hand (15), it does not necessarily dislodge the Bowling Ball (17) from on top of the Thingamajig (16). They ought to have the Hand work as a lever, centered at the middle of the Plumbing (14) and physically blocking the Bowling Ball. 2: There's no guarantee that the Man (20) landing in the Pool (22) will dislodge the Cage (24) from the Cage Post (23).

Yes, that's how I spend my time, thinking of things like that.
Things I think Are Funny Early in the Morning: If Batman were a Smurf: "Quick, Robin! We must smurf down to the Batcave and smurf the Batplane! Then we must smurf the batsmurf so we can smurf where the Joker is smurfing!"

The Croonerism Spate (explanations upon request)
Be careful with this one, there is a bit of a pun involved. Dr. Spooner described his visit to a castle: "In the center of the fortress was the Palace Court. The gated entrance to this area was the court palace."

I'm sorry to say I knew all those numbers from memory. The full run: Base A, Gear Stand, Gear #3, Crank, Gear #5, Stop Sign(and attach rubber band), Lamp Post, Boot, Stairs, Bucket, Metal Ball, Base B, Rain Gutter, Plumbing, Helping Hand, Thingamajig, Bowling Ball, Bathtub, Diving Board, Man, Base C, Pool, Cage Shaft, Cage.

And for an encore, all the Monopoly squares in order: Mediteranean, Community. . .

^_^ I had that one too... I had a ton of a LPS but the two things I had the most of was Polly Pocket (EVERY time there was a holiday or birthday or something I'd ask for one, I swear ^^;; ) and Micro Machines. Those were the two things I had the biggest collections of. I was such a sucker for the mini-sized things like that.

And Asteroid... Mouse Trap and Monopoly were probably my single two most favorite board games growing up. :D My dad used to get so mad because I'd always beat him at Monopoly, LOL.

I'm obsessed with tiny things! xD
Big purses annoy me, I always get tiny-tiny bags to put in a tiny-tiny-tiny notebook in and sharpen and sharpen my pencils until they're small enough to fit inside and put in my toys and try and fit in my mobile. xD
Big toys to me are... okay... I just want tiny things. They're so cute! The smaller the cuter!

I loved Monopoly growing up. The playing pieces were so shiny and cute. I loved being the thimble.

One game that I hated as a child was Operation. It scared the Hell out me. It's basically shock therapy disguised as a fun game. Very very evil it is >_> <_<.

I also liked the thimble! It must be an SMU thing.

Monopoly and other board games like Life, Risk, or Clue, I liked them very much, but I could never really find playing partners. Adults always had stuff to do, and people my age didn't have the attention spans needed to stick with it. That's why eventually I got into Magic the Gathering, a game that you *really* had to pay attention to the nuances of.

I never had Operation, but I did have Perfection when I was really young. I was afraid of the thing until I got good at it, because the table you set the pieces into was so loud when it popped up. Once I got older I just started using the table as a launching board for various small objects, just to see how far I could make them go. (Not very far, damn it...) I still have it, actually, and all the little parts that go with it.

I never really got to play board games much, but I did enjoy Monopoly. Mainly because I like to hoard money.

There are tons of Barbies stuffed into my closet. I liked to throw them off of the top bunk and make them perform super awesome karate moves on each other. Needless to say, I should have had action figures at some point during my childhood. ^_^;;

I've only played Monopoly once and I didn't really understand it...that was back when I was 16. My boyfriend keeps saying that one day he'll teach me how to play it.

Musashi, I wasn't surprised Elmo made it, I was disappointed. I was hoping to get through it without seeing either him or Talking Barney. I am allowed to dislike certain things...especially if they drove me crazy as a kid.

Anyway...Strawberry Shortcake was listed today!! Woo Hoo!! I loved her so much when I was younger. I have two of the plush dolls and a pen. When I was a kid my dad taped Strawberry Shortcake in Big Apple City for me. I've watched it so many times. And this is my second year purchasing the calander with vintage pictures of her on it. I just refuse to get any of the updated SSC stuff. I'm sorry, but that's just not the Strawberry that I knew and loved.

Crayons...that's not something I usually thought of as a toy, but whatever works. I spent many happy hours with them. Cabbage Patch Kids were listed. I wanted one, but mom said they were too expensive. I also wanted Lite Brite.

Oh the Nintendo game system....I spent many happy hours in front of that. Mario 1-3, Duck Hunt, Link 1 and 2, Disney games, I loved them all. The only one that really annoyed me was Duck Hunt. I liked the game itself, but it was that dog that irked me. Laughing at me whenever I lost. I actually tried to shoot him a few times.

Ah! I get ya now. ^^
I had Tickle Me Big Bird, never Elmo. xD;
He scared the crap out of me. LOVE Big Bird and like cuddling him to sleep but the fact that he VIBERATED THE WHOLE BED when I went to sleep was... disturbing, to say the least. xD;

Strawberry Shortcake! Aww...

Crayons? -blink- I still draw with those. xD; ^^

Ok folks, we've reached the last episode. And ranking at the number one spot was *fan fare* the hoola hoop! That actually surprised me. But it is one of the oldest toys, right up there with the jump rope. And I did own one that was striped and made noise. I just couldn't seem to make it work. Those things take talent.

Barbie made it to number 2. I knew she'd make it near the top. GI Joe wasn't too far behind her.

I'm happy, play doh made the top list. I used to love that stuff. Still do actually. The kids in nursery love it and it's a good way to interact with them.

Two things on this list made me a little sad. The Snoopy Sno cone machine and the Easy Bake Oven. Seeing those reminded me of how much I wanted them when I was a kid, but my parents didn't want me to get any toys that made food.

Etch-a-Sketch....those things drove me nuts. I could never make anything that even remotely looked decent. After playing with my friend's Etch-a-Sketch, I just didn't even bother asking for one. They also erased easy. Your friend could come up behind you and slap you on the back real hard. Whatever you're doing would be gone.

Mr. Potato Head...loved him as a kid. Also owned a yoyo. I remember in 5th grade that yoyos suddenly became popular. Some yoyo champ came to our school and showed us tricks and stuff. For a good three days or so afterward, everyone had one. I could make it do simple things, but nothing complicated. I miss that toy, maybe I'll go see if I can find one.

XD;; all through childhood, I wanted a damn easy bake oven...but I never got one. I think one christmas my parents did try to get me one, but they were really popular and places were sold out. My cousin got one..lucky bitch.

For years I would bitchto people that I always wanted one, and never got one. LOL

So about two years ago, one of my best friends sent me a christmas present...an easy bake oven. *dies* She said to me, "Now you can get over your traumatic childhood XD"

So I now have an easy bake oven sitting in my closet.
