Bible of Death or a really good book???

Post by fukufreak34 » Mon Feb 13, 2006 12:14 pm

If you have ever read the book A Child Called "It" you would know that it nmakes you want to cry and throw up at the same time. I read during class the other day and it made me think how lucky all of us are to live here even with all of the problems with the government. What does everybody else think about this book?

P.S. Does anyone know where to find the second and third books? If you do please PM me or type it on the index board. Thanks a Bunch!!!

I adore that book. It really makes you think.

i've found the other two books at Wal-mart and every bookstore, such as Books a Million, Barnes and Nobles, etc. If you want to order online, try amazon.com

Joey: The question is, Rachel, does he like you? ''Cuz if he doesn''t, then it''s all just a moo point.
Rachel: Huh...a...moo point?
Joey: Yeah. It''''s like a cow''s opinion. It doesn''t matter....It''s moo.

I've heard of this book and seen it at a local store. It sounds very interesting, so I may read it this summer.

It is. It's a very heartbreaking story, especially since it's true and the abuse that poor boy went through is just horridly mindblowing, but it's also very inspirational in the second two books, when you read about him growing up and growing past it.

I remember I read A Child Called 'It' in 7th grade. My eyes went wide while I was reading, I just couldn't believe the abuse and torture that little boy was put through.

*remembers the part where he had to eat regurgitated hot dogs, then remembers what she ate for dinner* Oh boy...

I think I saw this guy on a talk show a few years ago. Some of the abuse he was put through sounds familiar, and I found an article on him that says he was on the Montel Williams show. I'm pretty sure that's where I saw him.

I read this about a year ago, I think. Very compelling. I felt so horrified and sad for that poor kid,

Thanks Tiff I'll try at Walmart again next time I'm there in Massena. I bought the Biography of David Pelzer there too. Has anybody ever read that? It is just as bad as the first book. Every time I think about what he went through I want to hug my mom.
