My 8th grade history teacher was arrested

Post by Neon Heart » Sun Feb 12, 2006 2:44 pm

It was on the news. Apparently, the guy who taught me social studies in 8th grade has been arrested for child pornography charges. Then he tried destroying the evidence when the feds searched his place (big mistake, Mr. R), and then he said he was going to kill himself.

!

So now he's in a mental health facility, and when he goes to court (don't know when yet), he will be charged with 17 counts of child pornography, and other charges might be brought up, too. And if he goes to prison, he will be there for 72 years, basically the rest of his life.

!!

So he's obviously on paid administrative leave. So I guess that means they didn't fire him? If they didn't, that doesn't mean he'll be going back to the school will he (don't see why he wouldn't be charged, though)?

I always knew the Independence School District was full of idiots, but... Jeez. Guess you really can't trust the quiet ones.

Nah, I'm not scared. The guy taught me over two years ago, and the news stations have said that none of this took place at school or with any students. So, I'm not worried about it.

I understand completely.

See this? This was my chorus teacher in middle school. Six to eight years ago. When I was in the eighth grade, he put on a production of Grease. A close friend of mine performed in it. As Sandy. In the end, my friend wore the tight leather suit.

Back then, that was okay. Hell, it was kind of cool that he let her do that. But now I see it in a different light.

They say that none of the pictures he had were of students from the school. Which is a comfort.

But this man taught me. Everyone loved him. He was one of the favourite teachers at school.

I can't hate this guy.

Thats cool wow I would be soo scared if that happened to me. Or at my school even. I'm starting to get suspicions though.

This is just more proof that most people will become teachers just so they can get close to children.... Sometimes, too close (in some cases).

*sigh* People are freaks...

Can we start calling this particular subset of paedophiles "Kimuras"?

Nah. Call 'em "lolipedofins" instead.

I'm writing this Sailor Moon/Green Lantern crossover AU fic called "Emerald Sunrise". It's a hybrid of Action/Adventure, Sci-Fi, Romance, and Comedy. It's about Ami (Sailor Mercury) getting a new boyfriend who just happens to be a member of The Green Lantern Corps. I'm also throwing in some other characters from other animes and some old Hanna-Barbera cartoons from the late '60's early '70's. I'm also illustrating it as well. Wish me luck. I'm gonna need it.
