Played well at one point: Trumpet
Played decently with sheet music: Piano

I kinda wish I'd kept up with the former, and I wish I had my electric keyboard around to practice on it ^^;;

I've played the Violin for 2 years, and the Viola for 2 years but I'm still not good at either >.<;

ok, understand i am musically talented, and been through lots of instruments:

clarinet
trumpet
flute
trombone
alto sax
tenor sax
bari sax
trumpet again
clarinet again
flut once more
and thats where im at right now. i want to learn violin or oboe next ^^ just for fun, not for school.

I used to play the Viola when I was in the 5th grade, but then we moved and I couldn't find a teacher

I took piano lessons a while back, and can play okay with sheet music. I can't play anything advanced. I wish I could get those lessons back again. I just don't have the time or money. Perhaps when I get out of school.
I'm going to count my voice as an instrument, as I have been singing since the 5th grade and am quite proud of that. I recently sang in my boyfriend's father's wedding ^_^

I used to play the trumpet between 6th grade and 10th grade. After that I transfered to a smaller high school that didn't have a music program, and I didn't have the time to pursue it anymore. I don't think I've picked my trumpet up since then. Sometimes I wish I had stuck with it, but it was fun while it lasted.

I played the saxophone briefly, but then true" instrument, the trumpet. When I first started, I lived in Massachusetts. I was always a bit above average, but nowhere near some of the prodigies I knew. When I moved to Florida, I was shocked at the state of the school band. They really, really sucked. I felt special in there, I got to be the star player. I could rub other people's noses in my "greatness." However I got really depressed that year, so my heart wasn't really in it. I got tired of going to practices (I was in three separate bands!) and eventually told my parents I wanted to quit. The teacher basically pleadedwith me not to go, saying the band would fall apart without me. I figure he deserves what he gets because that band was way behind. I really miss playing an instrument though.

Trombone is the instrument I excel in and have played since 6th grade. I can also play the Euphonium (aka Baritone), some percussion, little Piano, and the Tuba.

I played the clarinet in 5th grade but my teach wouldnt let me switch to saxaphone(which is why i played it in the first place) so I now play the violin, I also have played the piano since 2nd grade and sadly I havent gotten any better at it...

Well, I'm limited to voice (I do a GREAT alto part) and a VERY sketchy bit of piano (actually the auto chord on an electric piano)

However, I can play the Zelda theme and the Super Mario Bros. 2 overworld song with the electric piano auto chord!

Oh, Tiff, what part do you sing? Soprano? Alto?

I played the flute for three years and now I'm learning how to play the shamisen (Japanese banjo or lute). Has anyone heard of Takeharu Kunimoto?
